Great Cabin
We loved this cabin in Almont. Great location and close to Taylor and Gunnison Rivers, Taylor Reservoir, Gunnison, Crested Butte, and many great hiking trails. The cabin had pretty much everything we needed. We loved the fireplace and the instant hot water! We love this area and have stayed at other places. This was our favorite.

Taylormade Hideaway ~ Almont
We loved our stay in this lovely, peaceful home! We loved the comfy beds, everything was clean and a central location to all the area has to offer. Thank you so much for offering your home as a vacation rental! It provided instant vacation for us. We cant wait to come back!

Great Stay!
Great cabin! Open and Roomy. Good location. Room to park Side X Side trailers. Only complaint was both bathrooms were downstairs. Other than that, no problems.

Perfect Location b/t Gunnison & Crested Butte
Lovely, picturesque cabin up the Taylor Canyon. In town for son's graduation and this location was perfect. Allowed for quick trips into town for graduation events and to CB for all it has to offer. Would definitely stay here again.

Great stay
Wonderful cabin in a great location outside of Crested Butte. It’s a very doable driving distance for day trips into town. We prefer hiking and being out in the mountains so the locations was perfect for our family. We had a pleasure of meeting the owners and they were extremely nice! We’ll be back for sure, thanks for everything!

I think we finally got it. This time of the year (when you stayed) is the worst as they are trying to move in for winter. Sorry for the surprise invasion. I'll be better prepared from now on.

Super Stay!!
Great stay!! We even had a "guest" that nibbled on our bread in the cabinet. 🐀 This was our first stay in the area. We enjoyed everything, especially the sunset view from the wrap around porch. We enjoyed the colors on Kebler and Ohio passes. We found the best colors along the Silver Thread highway between Lake City and Creede.

We hope to stay here again!
We stayed here for 3 weeks and thoroughly enjoyed it. We hope to stay here again soon. The property is clean and comfortable. The location is awesome. We like to cook and found the cookware somewhat lacking (skillets, baking dishes, etc.), but this is only a trivial objection. The bottom line is: we'll be back.

This is a great property for the family!
There were a couple of maintenance issues that the property manager was very receptive about, the microwave did not work, very slow drain in the master bath, and the seal around the refrigerator door was broken causing the refrigerator not to cool very good. It still cooled enough that we felt ok with having food in it. None of these things affected our overall experience and The communication with Jenny seemed like they were going to get those things checked out! I will definitely think of this property for future visits..

Beautiful cabin nestled in the Aspens
This cabin has an amazing wrap-around deck perfect for sitting and enjoying the beauty of the area and the nice cool air. Inside is open with a fireplace and high ceilings. There is a nice loft for additional sleeping quarters. We'd go again in a minute!

Taylormade for sure!!!
The cabin was perfect for 4 guys enjoying the local flyfishing and general sightseeing. Secluded yet close enough to civilization in Gunnison or Crested Butte. Will definitely recommend it to others. And would love to return some day!

Beautiful House, beautiful property.
Everything was amazing except for the mice. We've experienced them before so did not freak us out too much but the problem is ongoing. Mentioned multiple times in the guest book. The house is amazing, wifi, TV, heat in every room. Open and beautiful.

Peaceful Getaway
We had a wonderful, restful stay at Taylormade Hideaway. It's just far enough out of town that you are surrounded by nature, but just a 15 minute drive into Gunnison if you need anything. We attended 2 free concerts at WCU in Gunnison that our son was in! You can see the road and hear occaisional traffic, but the tradeoff is that it is easy to get to and find (especially if you arrive at night!) My husband had a great bike ride around Hartman Rocks! You'll love it here!

Nice quite cabin
This was great you know what your are getting, a one bedroom cabin with a loft. Cabin was clean and they left towels for everyone. Would definitely stay here again.

perfect location
We had a great time! Got to meet the Hustons (owners) and Doug told us the color on Ohio Creek Pass drive was at it's peak so we went the next day (and it was). if you like to hike, fish, take scenic drives or go into Gunnison or Created Butte for dinner this is a great place to stay. Already made reservations for next year.

Great cabin close to fishing
Had a great time fishing the Taylor Canyon with a few friends for a 30th year high school reunion. Management of the property could not have been nicer. Highly recommend.

Lovely, handy fishing get-away.
The property was clean, neat and very pretty, both inside and out. It is located only two minutes from fishing locations on the Taylor River, and on the road up to Taylor Park Reservoir, which was a very pretty drive. The aspen trees were just starting to change to beautiful yellow.

House was awesome. Very well laid out , clean and comfortable. Wrap around porch was great. Would definitely stay again. Property on hard surface road and close (driving ) to Crested Butte and Gunnison

Too bad we can't live here year-round!
Idyllic! Still can't find a decent restaurant in Gunnison/Crested Butte, but home-cooked dining on the covered porch makes up for it.

Lol, I love the covered porch! When I first found out about this property that's the first thing I did, eat lunch on that awesome covered porch! I'm glad you had a good stay

Beautiful place!
Awesome decor and very comfortable! We enjoyed our stay there immensely. There were 2 older adults and 4 younger adults and we attended a family wedding just down the road. I was a smidge disappointed that the other property was so close and I didn’t see that in the original description. Highly recommend this property!

I'm so glad that you enjoyed your stay. In the description it says, "If you need more room for a bigger party book "Taylormade Getway" at the same time and your whole group can enjoy this entire property alone/together. They are neighboring properties Taylormade just for you." I tried to explain this, maybe I can come up with a better explanation. I will try.... Thank you. I do hope you come and see us again

Great Place in the Gunnison Valley!
We had a great stay in Altmont in our “Cabin in the Woods”! Everything was as presented and we would certainly go back.

I hope you do come back. It's a great place to stay in the summer and close enough to the ski resort in the winter to truly have that mountain escape experience. Thanks again for being such a good guest.

Amazing Location

Great cabin
We enjoyed the wrap around deck. The fireplace is a great centerpiece to the cabin. Would have been nice to have an outdoor bbq grill. And a water heater that could accommodate back to back showers.

Thanks for your recommendations. The owners are planning on having a grill. This is a brand new purchase for them and it's just something that hasn't been able to happen yet. Sorry about the hot water. This is the first we've heard about it. We'll look into that as well
