Great Stay

Fabulous cabin! Had everything we needed. Easy access to hiking and towns in area. The Alma saloon had great food. Would definitely stay again.

Wonderful quiet cabin

So close to skiing and had everything you could possibly need for a great vacation. The town of Alma is super cute and we visited Fairplay and Frisco and loved all the local art and crafts. Plenty of space for the whole family and friends and Wi-Fi worked great if you are on a working vacation.

Beautiful

Very cozy cabin! It was perfect for our family get away. Comfortable, well stocked and great hosts. All was as advertised! Beautiful in the Fall!

Perfect Adventure Base

The home is simple and genuine and abundant with everything you could possibly need to enjoy a stay in the mountains! Played classical music from the speakers in the living room and enjoyed the breeze while cooking steaks on the deck! So grateful for finding this place!

Wedding/Family

Destination wedding for family brought us to this fantastic VRBO. Alma may be a small town but, it has a little bit of everything. Bakery(amazing sweet and savory homemade goods) , Saloon (great food, and makes you feel like family) and a great little market we called piggly wiggly. The home itself was perfect. Hiking trails right out the door, plenty of room for family game night, cozy fireplaces and the beds were all comfortable!

Best Rental Ever!

This host really thought of everything, this was absolutely a 5 star stay! Everything was new and clean with plenty of space, and beautiful location. The theme throughout the house was so cute and cozy. We will definitely be back!

Has everything!

We were pleasantly surprised that this property has such a well-stocked kitchen! Listing was accurate and we had no issues finding or accessing it. Beautiful 20 minute drive into Breckenridge.

Nice stay

Went up for my birthday and thought it was a nice cozy place. It had everything you could need. I just wish it wasn’t as cold and snowy as it was.

Very Nice Cabin

Very nice cabin off the beaten path mid-way of Fairplay and Breckenridge. Not much to do there but kick back and relax which is just what I needed. Thanks for granting our request for the extended checkout .

Beautiful Weekend Retreat

We have an exchange student from Switzerland and our son has been on leave from the Army, so we wanted to spend one weekend with the 5 teenager/adult children and our two dogs, because our son misses the mountains and the Alos don’t look like the Rockies. It’s a beautiful home and it reallly meant so much to us that the dogs could be with us in a welcoming environment.

Great experience!

My wife and I and our two pups had a weekend away at this beautiful cabin! The cabin was modern yet felt very homey and rustic all at the same time which was exactly what we were looking for! The ease of having a doggy door downstairs that led to a fenced in area for them was amazing and so convenient! The hot tub was very relaxing! Would highly recommend and would return in a heartbeat!

Clean, Pretty Space inviting to families with pets

We only had a quick weekend for our family of six, our foreign exchange student and our 2 dogs to enjoy the mountains together. The cabin is in walking distance of Alma businesses, but far enough off the main road that you don’t hear traffic. The space is very inviting and clean. The only people that would not enjoy it are those with mobility issues since the cabin is on three floors and accessing the main floor requires going down a steeper path.

This is the nicest and best equipped rental property we have ever stayed in! Beautiful mountain setting and all comforts of home and modern conveniences. Definitely will be back!

We had the best stay ever! Beautiful trails right out the back door and very well equipped property. Towels and slippers for the hot tub and all the kitchen amenities any one would need. Alma is a very cute historic mining town with a saloon with excellent pizza and small shops. We hiked the decalibron, which is in close proximity to the house, and had a great adventure. Also mountain hiked from the house. But if you just want to relax it’s very peaceful and comfortable in the house with a cozy gas fireplace that heats up well. Liz and Mike are very accommodating and responsive. Again, best stay ever for relaxation and adventure! Just what the spirit needs!

Beautiful and so accommodating!

This was such a beautiful place to stay, not only was it perfect for our family, it was so great and accommodating for our fur babies, it’s so nice to be able to have our babies with us, much appreciated! Very clean and had a beautiful Christmas tree set up just in time for Christmas. Had most everything you might need, full size washer and dryer, the fenced in yard and doggy door was absolutely fantastic! It was in such a beautiful area, 30 or so minutes from Breckenridge. Thank you Liz and Mike!

Everything about this place is great. Awesome house with all the amenities. A perfect location in the small town of Alma, giving you a country feel, but yet 15 minutes from Breckenridge and fine dining. A trail right across the street, was a great surprise. I hiked three other trails in the area, including Hoosier Pass 5 miles up the highway, and some beautiful lakes. The house is roomy, beautifully decorated, hot tub, pet friendly, a fenced in dog run and they provide poop bags. Everything you could possibly need was in the kitchen, and I cooked several nights lacking for nothing. Well stocked with kitchen accessories & utensils. Super comfortable beds, beautiful scenery, and the owners Liz and Mike are truly exceptional and responsive. I found this home to be incredibly clean, they offer Netflix and Amazon prime, and the art around the home is spectacular. Such a cheery and inviting place, also family friendly. I also walked around the little town of Alma, so quaint and friendly, a fun saloon, a beautiful vegetable & fruit stand, and a really cool general store. The price is extremely reasonable, a welcome packet included with coffee and pancake mix. The home also has a beautiful deck with a view, skylights, high ceilings, and is very bright and well lit. Bonus - a really nice BBQ grill. They also have a full-size washer and dryer. And to add to the ambience, a beautiful gas fireplace. So many little touches to this place, even extra dog beds, board games, DVDs, and a setup for your laptop. At night, you can see the stars, it was quiet, and I felt very safe. I was hoping to see a moose, they roam in Alma, but not on this visit. I can’t say enough good things about this property. I will be back next year for sure. EXCEPTIONAL.
