Excellent mountain home in Alma

Really beautiful property. The owners were great to work with, very communicative and helpful (not that we needed much help). Very peaceful setting, comfortable, clean home. Highly recommend!

Mountain Adventure

We all had an excellent time and experience at this cabin. Everything we needed for the kitchen and for the bedrooms / bathrooms. Absolutely gorgeous and quiet space reserved for 4 friends. The hot tub was wonderful and the patios / balcony were wonderful. Truly the best overall vibes and immaculate space. I definitely recommend for those who want a truly quiet and peaceful getaway. We will definitely be back.

Great start to summer

This home and property manager were amazing. Our family enjoyed the home, it had anything and everything we needed. Plenty of room for everyone and the location was far enough away for quiet when we wanted it and close enough to Breck and hiking areas.

Family ski trip

The house was perfect for our stay with our grown children, plenty of space for everyone and the kitchen/living room was perfect for gathering together. The hot tub was awesome, we used it every night. The beds were comfy. It was about a 30 min drive to Breckenridge. We liked being in the mountain instead of in the hustle and bustle of Breck.

Christmas stay

Overall, this house is pretty good. Close to Breck and very clean. Though it has two major drawbacks: (1) total lack of basic cooking utensils and tools … only one mixing bowl, nothing to store leftovers, and one spatula … there were placemats and serving trays but no real basic cooking tools. (2) BIGGEST ISSUE: the neighbor across the street exhibits disturbing behavior. He stood in the street and wrote our license plate numbers down and claimed that he was “just keeping us safe”. He also would walk and drive slowly up and down the street and watch the house while we were there. When I contacted the management company about him, I received no response. So renter beware.

FairPlay stay

Mountain family escape

We have never been to this part of CO and what a pleasure it was. Locals were so kind and the trout fishing at the reservoirs was great for our youngest. A short trip to shopping and food in Breckenridge, but a clean & comfy mountain cabin to return to was just what we all needed. We enjoyed soaking in the hot tub after a long hike and using the grill and kitchen for a quick meal. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of bathroom space for everyone! What a great family stay.

Piece of Heaven

Our stay was great. We ended up having to leave early but our stay was quiet and so peaceful. Highly recommend this fantastic property to anyone wanting to relax but also be close enough to all the fun offerings of Breckenridge.

Great house and location!

We had a great stay at this rental. It is a beautiful house and great location. We really wish the thermostats hadn't been locked though - it was really hot inside even with the windows open throughout the day and night.

Great place and stay

We absolutely loved staying here, this was our second stay at this cabin! And we will definitely be coming back! The views are exquisite and a great place to get away from it all! The road to get to the cabin is a little rough but being off the path it is to be expected! Overall and very lovely location and stay!

Quiet and cute cabin

The cabin was in the perfect location and so quiet. I read reviews about a neighbor that caused issues and was weary about booking it but I had absolutely no issues during my stay. I arrived earlier than check in time and the property manager was great about trying to get us in sooner. They were extremely responsive to all my messages and even sent someone over to look at a door that wouldn’t open to the back patio. The cabin was clean when I arrived and had all the basic necessities that I needed. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and look forward to booking here again.

Mountain Rustic Paradise!

We loved our stay at this unique cabin. Property owner was easy to communicate with. Instructions very clear for check in and check out. We needed 4WD to get into the neighborhood because of snow, but it was piece of cake for our truck. Living room space was perfect for us with plenty of room for our dog crates. Cabin had great Wi-Fi so streaming on multiple devices was no problem. TV in living room was great. Heated flooring in the cabin was a luxury. First floor Master bedroom was such a plus as most rentals have 2nd or 3rd floor masters with lots of stairs! It made loading in and out so easy. Great shower in Master Bath. Plenty of hot water. Kitchen was great. It could use a new toaster, but everything else was perfect. 35 minute drive to Breck for skiing. Love the Alma area. South Park Saloon is a best place for pizza! We come 2 times a year and this was by far our favorite cabin. Can’t wait to stay again next year! 5 stars!

Very Peaceful Area

Really enjoyed the 3 weeks we spent at this house. The weather is wonderful (in July) and the house is very comfortable and spacious. We had a very relaxing time and really enjoyed the hot tub and grill. The reviews about the road are correct -- it is a bit rough but we were fortunate that the county re-smoothed the main county road not long after we arrived. The property manager was very responsive -- we really enjoyed our stay.

It could be better

I rented this house for a vacation from Missouri with my family of 6 adults. There’s a lot of good things to be said about this place, you can find tons of reviews on those subject as I did. I want to address the few bad apples that were never mentioned in previous reviews. First and foremost the county road 6 (the only way in and out) that you are on for about a mile just before getting to the house is the worst section of road I have ever been on in my 34 years. It’s like a exploded mine field of potholes that after driving on multiple times a day for a week has done extensive damage to my car, it now makes noises on every little bump. The booking agency is just up the road in town. They knew we were coming for a week stay and they left the refrigerator off, we showed up with groceries and drinks that had to stay warm. It took over night for the fridge to cool down. There was a couple other small things that were easy to get past. The tv in the living room didn’t work, we just swapped for bedroom tv. Another was the grass in the front yard was knee high. The last thing being the “crazy” neighbor. I read a review before booking about a conflict with this neighbor. Not thinking much of it as I’m very easy going. Come to find out the neighbor has a very aggressive boxer dog that is never on a leash and never listens to its owner. The boxer comes over to the yard of the rental several times a day just looking for trouble. The neighbor does not see this as a problem nor does he try to apologize. There’s more to this story but I will leave it at that. Rent at your own risk.

Nice Getaway!

The house was very nice and clean and the hot tub was nice after days of hiking. The road to get to the house isn't maintained very well, and I would not recommend it for sedans. Also, if you are expecting mountain views, you will not be able to see them from the house. Most of the view is covered by trees. We did enjoy our stay, as the house is very close to many hiking trails, places to fish, and the town of Breckenridge is just a few miles away.

Bad road, nice home

Home is as advertised, location is pleasant. Spa/hot tub is wonderful, any time day or night. Road to get in and out is very rough, only fit for off- road suspension. Host was very responsive and quickly resolved the two difficulties we encountered.

The property was beautiful and located at the foot of Mt. Lincoln. Accessibility to trails was great, although i would suggest doing grocery shopping before arrival as there are limited places near by the get groceries. House was huge and very clean. Hot tub was great!
