This was our second stay at The Timbers. The location is ideal for exploring or just relaxing. The view is magnificent. The management service was communicative. There are a few little things we might suggest, but none take away from the joy of the house. It is family-friendly, cozy on mountain nights, and inspiring for all who seek reprieve from the fast pace of daily life.

Beautiful place, would stay again

The place was beautiful, the listing said 4 bedrooms but there were actually 5 which was a great surprise for us. There was quite a bit of cobwebs and dust and a white thong left behind in one of the bedrooms. We ran out of toilet paper and we had to restock ourselves but other than that the place was amazing. Would stay again.

Wonderful Thanksgiving Vacation!

We had an amazing vacation at The Timbers! The house was exactly as described—clean, cozy, and with comfortable beds. There were plenty of games to keep everyone entertained, and the location was perfect, with convenient proximity to Breckenridge. The management company was very responsive and prompt in addressing any questions. We will definitely be returning!

The Timbers is a Welcoming Place

The Timbers is a beautifully designed cabin with magnificent views. The location offers opportunity for day trips and exploring, but there is plenty to do without leaving the property such as a game of pool, foosball, or horseshoes. The hot tub allows for nightly star gazing. During our stay, a bull moose came to visit. He returned a few days later with momma moose and a little guy. The Timbers is a welcoming place for all ages. We would like to return!

Perfect Mountain getaway!

The Timbers at Glacier Ridge is absolutely beautiful! Plenty of space for our family of 7 and well equipped with everything you need in a kitchen, including coffee supplies, spices and refrigerated condiments. Our arrival was a bit overwhelming as we arrived at dark and it was snowing. Google maps did not take us to the correct spot ( the address was correctly entered but it took us to the corner of Platte River Drive and Polaris Lane) so we had to drive around for a while to find it. If this happens to you, just keep going on Platte River Drive for a while and you will find it. Overnight we had a lot of snow and the long curved driveway is extremely steep so even with 4WD and chains we were stuck. Thankfully, a quick phone call to the property manager resulted in them sending a snow plow to get us out!!! The hot tub was great after a long day of skiing :) The town of Fairplay has everything you need which was convenient. We did stop at a Safeway on the way from the airport to get most groceries. The only issues we had were getting up and down the drive way and both snow shovels on the property were in bad shape so it was difficult to shovel. Fantastic lodge and responsive hosts made this 5 stars for me!

Great Place to getaway

The property is absolutely gorgeous. The views are spectacular. The place receives 4 stars due to many dirty dishes and advertised steam shower that does not work. Otherwise it is a five star property.

Summer 2022

We have stayed in this cabin before and loved it. We were surprised when we returned that it was even more beautiful then the first time and many extras had been added: the basement was finished, the outside fire pit and the horse shoe area. It was a wonderful vacation and the property couldn’t have been nicer. My daughter also saw a bear while sitting in the back deck.
