- Located just 10 minutes from Portland's CBD, in the quiet serenity of Allestree, this neat and tidy 3-bedroom cottage is perfect for fishing weekends or family holidays. The property accommodates up to 8 people over 3 bedrooms with a queen bed in 2 bedrooms and a queen and bunk in the third bedroom.
A delightful sunroom with a day bed to sit and relax and enjoy the view of the farm paddocks and beyond is a big perk!
A fully equipped, light-filled kitchen with gas cooking and large dining table is suitable to cater for the whole family. A separate lounge area features a TV and your choice of cosy wood heating or gas heating.
One sparkling bathroom with separate bath and full laundry facilities including washing machine and dryer completes this property as a home away from home.
The property is surrounded by farm fencing, to ensure uninterrupted views of the surrounding farms land. Wifi and phone reception available on the property.
We are Pet Friendly - please be mindful we cannot guarantee this property will be suitable for your individual pet's needs, please contact Portland Seaview for further information if you are bringing along your furry friend.

Slice of Peace
The home was cozy, super clean, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed. We loved the hiking trails nearby and soaking in the scenery. It was the kind of place where you can truly unplug and reset.Our host was kind, helpful, and respectful. You can tell they care deeply about both the property and the guest experience.If you're looking for quiet, nature, and a little slice of peace, this is it. We'd come back in a heartbeat. Wonderful time
Overall we had a great time here at Miffy’s
House was clean & tidy and perfect for our needs. Located a short 8min drive from the centre of Portland was ideal.
Walk down the driveway cross a road and we were standing on the sand watching our kelpie run wild, loving the water.
The beds were comfortable, which was surprising as we had experienced shockers before. Only downside for us was the lounge suite sagged a lot & was very uncomfortable. Just meant we got off our bums and did a lot of tourist stuff lol.
Would we go back there… yes that’s a definite

Comfortable pet friendly retreat
Miffy's Cottage was comfortable and just what we needed for a quiet long weekend away with our Kelpie. Property is pet friendly however both front and back yards were not secure enough for us to take our dog outside without being on a lead. He did enjoy watching the sheep and cows in the adjoining paddock from the sunroom though. Was a little disappointed that the beach is not really accessible directly from the street at the front of the property unless you scramble over the rock wall which we did not do. In any event we enjoyed our stay and the cottage was homely and had everything that we needed. Something I will note is that there was a good range a saucepans which you don't often find in other rental accommodation but only one of these saucepans had a lid so that was a bit strange. Overall it is a comfortable property and we would stay there again.
