We had an unfortunate lightning strike at the cabin prior to the guests arrival We informed them of the incident and the timing of repairs from our security company phone company which unfortunately was a delay. They requested to reschedule for another time and we were happy to honor their requests.

We put in new mattress set but it is hard to satisfy everyone’s bed or pillow preferences. Didn’t receive communication during the stay just a poor review afterwards. Hard to know what we could have done better to improve your stay. We have have family of 2 adults and 2 children with 5/5 reviews.

As hosts for many years we have never had such a disastrous experience. This is the first we heard about no WiFi-we had WiFi in the office and RV on the property and the equipment is hooked up in the home . Over several months prior to their reservation Cody and Morgin repeatedly asked for special accommodations, visited the property with family members twice and were totally satisfied with the house and cabin they reserved. We accommodated ALL of their requests They got angry, verbally abusive to us, and extremely disrespectful to the property and absolutely refused to follow property and house/cabin rule beginning the time of check in. We also accommodated EARLY checkin . Because we brought things to their attention ie activities on the front of the property instead of Back Property agreed upon, extending their 4 hour limit for “extra” guests and had to Ask the parents to shut things down , only to have 6 cars during the 4 hour period but had 12 cars and a party van!! They also asked the day before if they could bring their two dogs and we agreed providing they paid the pet fees in cash and we did not charge the $100.00 fine for not registering the pets with the initial reservation-all On our property information thru VRBO. Bottom line, they just want their money back after they broke the rules and agreements We did NOT charge extra for the violations, guests urinating around the property, loud music etc at the house. We did charge extra cleaning fees at the cabin as they left a mess for the cleaning crew and I passed on the extra charges I received to clean up after Cody and Morgin. They are trying to damage our rentals with slanderous comments but for over 30 years we have been 5 star hosts. Fortunately the truth will prevail and to date VRBO has stated we are in full compliance as hosts and we had to ask VRBO to request Cody and Morgin to end the verbal abuse thru texts, phone calls from Cody, and emails (we received all ). So now Cody and Morgin have asked their guests to write false complaints against our property. Again the truth will be forthcoming Very unfortunate to have one groups cause so much disturbance. Our reviews in our guest books and on VRBO reflect very different perspectives.
