The bed and pillows were fantastic and the room was cool and pleasant overlooking the pool area - very comfortable. There was no bottled water in the room- I had to purchase an overpriced bottle through room service. I was told at reception that they did not provide complimentary bottles of water due to covid, which I have never heard before. There was nothing in the fridge at all, not even milk. I asked for a trolley at check in but none were visible in the lobby and my request was declined. No offer was made to arrange for my luggage to be brought to my room for me. I was directed incorrectly by reception to my room to the furtherest lift meaning I struggled with a heavy duffel bag for too long walking around the designated floor until the service staff saw my struggles and came to my rescue with a trolley and were very kind. No detail was offered or provided about the amenities or dining options, etc. All in all, some greater care and attention from the reception staff would be welcomed.
