Estupenda estadía

Es un sitio tranquilo con muchos lugares de interés en las cercanías. Buen hotel para los meses fuera de temporada. El pueblo cercano tiene de todo lo necesario para unas buenas vacaciones.

Hotel para descansar
La estancia ha sido muy tranquila, nos tocó una habitación de la plata de abajo que daba a la piscina, debe ser bastante cómodo en verano salir directamente a darte un baño, lo único es que si hay gente en la piscina y quieres que no te vean dentro de la habitación tienes que tener las cortinas corridas, pero es un mal menor por la comodidad de tener la piscina tan a mano. La playa queda en el pueblo, con lo cual la playa está algo lejos (10 minutos andando). En general muy recomendable, y mas si se consigue una buena oferta, los precios para el verano (temporada alta) me parecen algo caros, pero cogiendo alguna oferta es un hotel muy, pero que muy recomentable. El aparcamiento es gratuito y está bastante bien, ya que conté plazas suficientes para todas las habitaciones y si te tocan las del fondo es cómodo subir una planta (por escaleras, én esa parte no hay ascensor) y estar en la habitación sin recorrer todo la recepción.

Great place for an extended vacation in the Lagos Area. The hotel was 15 min walk from Pais da Luz right along the ocean . The hotel was quiet. The pool area is inviting. The staff was unassuming but professional and accommodating. I would recommend it highly .

Great relaxing stay at Vila Luz
It is a great hotel and nice location. Our contact was with Juan as he checked us in and occasionally communicated during the stay. Not much of other interactions. Rooms were large and clean. A very safe and relaxing place and managed to go see many places from there as we had a car. The only downside was the breakfast start time was at 8:30 and we also felt that they could be more generous with variety of the fruits. The fresh squeezed orange juice was a hit. Overall a great stay

My review is from. North American perspective. The staff are amazing and super helpful. The location outside of Lagos in Luz was thought to be a negative at first but was a bonus. The only downside is the value of this property based on the condition of the hotel. Although clean, the hotel rooms are tired. Staff is definitely 9.3 but the hotel condition is 7.2 and the total value is more like 7.

Très bien
Très bel appart hôtel à proximité de Luz. L'appartement est vaste, bien équipé et lumineux, avec un parking disponible immédiatement devant. Le centre ville est accessible à pied (1km de marche). Le petit-déjeuner est donné sous forme de buffet à la réception, complet et de bonne qualité. Une très bonne adresse pour séjourner à Luz.

Quiet location with easy walk to town/beach.
Quiet neighborhood with a short 15min walk to the restaurants and beach. Large clean room with kitchenette. Good breakfast and friendly service. They even have a small garage for parking in the shade.

Excellent rapport qualité prix.
Séjour très agréable dans ce très grand studio, grand balcon, incluant table, chaises et chaise longue, avec vue sur la piscine et la mer. Literie très confortable, grande salle de bain avec baignoire, grande cuisine que nous n'avons pas utilisé mais il y avait un équipement complet. jardin fleuri et arboré très bien entretenu. Petit déjeuner très copieux et varié. Parking juste devant l'hotel. Situation très calme proche d'un petit village.

We have stayed at this hotel 3 times, we love it. The rooms are studio style with plenty of room and spotlessly clean. We always pay the little extra for a balcony and view which are lovely and peaceful. The walk into town is fine though the walk back is uphill. Lots of restaurants and cafes in town and the hotel has a nice bar too. The pool is lovely, the breakfast is good, the staff are pleasant, in fact we have no complaints.

My daughter and I stayed for 6 days during Easter break, our room was upgraded (Abrigado!) to a bigger room with a separate bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, living room (spacious room and lots of storage areas) and balcony. Friendly staff (very helpful and kind), room very clean with comfortable bed, nice breakfast included, the town center and praia de luz beach are walking distance, we really enjoyed our stay.

Fantastiskt hotell, (men lite hårda sängar)
Helt fantastiskt hotell! Som ett litet resort, fast lugnt och lyxigt. Vi bodde 4 nätter i en ”studio panoramic” med utsikt över poolen och havet. Ett toppen-rum! Rymligt och med bra utrustat kök. Hade allt vi önskade. Väldigt rent hotell, med städning varje dag. De diskade allt och skrubbade golv, bytte handdukar. Hotellet ligger nära till centrum med en fin gångväg längs vattnet på 15 min. Luz i sig som samhälle är ju väldigt lugnt och mysigt (med många mångmiljon-villor). Känns väldigt säkert, både samhället och hotellet. Frukostbuffén var överraskande bra med olika bröd (även glutenfritt på begäran), olika pålägg, ägg, bacon, bönor, olika bakverk, yoghurt, olika nötter och flingor, färsk tropisk frukt samt färskpressad apelsinjuice. Kaffemaskin. (Tips är dock att gå dit vid öppning 8.30 då det senare lätt blir lite utplockat). Vi bodde där under lågsäsong i december, vilket var skönt då det var lite folk. Men inte öde. Trevlig och tillmötesgående personal som såg till att göra vistelsen så smidig för oss som möjligt. Gratis parkering antingen utanför eller under huset i deras egna parkeringshus. Vi är så nöjda med hela vistelsen. Men det fanns två minus - sängarna var lite hårda, vilket gjorde att jag sov på soffan eftersom den var mjukare. Men sängarna är ju klart bättre än på många andra portugisiska hotell där dem är betydligt hårdare. Lite tråkigt också att poolen ej var uppvärmd eftersom vi ville bada men det var december. Men vill helt klart bo här igen!

The free pool table is a total bonus! Every member of the staff is acutely concerned about the guest experience. They really went out of their way to make our stay comfortable.

Great pool with nice view of the coast. Room was excellent (Panoramic Studio). There is no real restaurant on the property though they serve breakfast & some pre-prepared food (pizza, etc). Mixed friendliness from staff but no one was rude. Guy who checked us in was the best. Easy walk to town to restaurants, etc. A bit far to the beach, but doable. Overall a good place to relax.
