The property was located right on the beach with a beautiful walkway. Our room was adequate. We found our hallway very dark at night as there was no lights operating

Pros: Property is at an excellent location 🙂 The beach is really good. We had an excellent time this summer. The property also has multiple swimming pools both outdoor and indoor. Indoor ones are warm and also has a Jacuzzi. Hotel staff was also very helpful. We truly enjoyed our 4 nights stay at Jardim de Vau. Cons: I had booked this property through Expedia but one small concern from my end was that our room didn't have washing machine. Rest all room seem to have it. Otherwise, everything was good 👍

Highly recommended
Hotel is in an ideal location. It is quiet but there are several nice bar/restaurants within 2mins walk. Beautiful pool which is spotless clean. Pool bar is excellent with reasonable prices.The whole property is very clean, inside and out. Gorgeous beach is a few steps away with 3 bar/restaurants on or overlooking beach. About a 20 mins lovely walk along the prom with stunning views, into centre of very lively portimao.

We were upgraded to a 2 bedroom apartment which was very nice and quiet. Some room service every day was nice but not necessary. It was a bit strange that we were told that we had to buy our own dish soap to wash our dishes. Now we have a large amount left over. Otherwise it was very lovely. Beautiful pool.

Amazing for a family, immaculate outside pool, great inside pool, everything well taken care of, and friendly staff always eager to help. just 1 step from the beach, with a cat colony outside the gate eager to be pet'd - could not ask for better place. will definitely return. Only thing that needs urgent uplift and improvement is the wi-fi - it is impossible to work from this location with the wi-fi provided.

Easy access to the seafront. Lovely walks around. Very comfortable beds. Every single person working there was very polite and helpful. We love swimming and indoor pool was fantastic, apart of opening times 9-7, . And also when we booked, it was including steam and sauna, but you have to pay for it and pre-book it now:-{ so not very happy about that.

Awesome stay! Our room got upgraded when we arrived, very clean big room, everything you need right on site, perfect location!! Too many cats but I think that’s Portugal in general… otherwise it was a great stay would recommend and stay again

Had a fantastic experience. The employees were very friendly and helpful. They took the time to help us. Everything was clean and comfortable. The beach was a short walk from the hotel and was fantastic.

Good location next to the beach and restaurants. Property well maintained, good staff and excellent facilities including library, gym, shop, swimming pool, restaurant. Rooms cleaned to a high standard every day. Staff helpful and friendly. I cannot fault it.

un séjour en famille à quelques mètres d'une très belle plage de Portimao. Très propre, bien équipée pour y cuisiner, une piscine pour se détendre. J'y retournerai. Le point à améliorer : le matelas du canapé-lit (les lits sont top par contre)

Great
Even though it was out of season all the facilities were open and in immaculate condition. The pool areas are fantastic and the indoor gym all in good functional order. The food at the restaurant was extremely reasonable and very good.

Great hotel, great location
This hotel has everything you need, well equipped large apartments, great pool with lots of sun loungers, right next door to long sandy beach and even a mini supermarket. The area is quiet (no bad thing), and you can walk to Praia da Rocha and Alvor. We had a airport pick up later in the day and were offered storage of our luggage and a courtesy room and towels free of charge.

I liked the access to the beach. I liked the connivence store. I didn’t like the beds at all. I didn’t like the the rooms didn’t have basic kitchen things like dish soap. I didn’t like the service, very very slow for ordering food and drinks.

Wonderful holiday
It was a great clean hotel right near the beach with a fully equipped kitchen. The bedroom was spacious and quiet.There was a nice balcony off the lounge and dining area. There is a restaurant and shop where you can get groceries on site Laundry was quite expensive for a small bag of clothes. I would definitely stay there again great value for money.
