Amazing Porto De Mos
First of all, Cristina (host) is amazing. Great communication and responsiveness. House was awesome…. 7 adults, everyone had own space and bathroom. Laundry on site. Pool amazing! Overlooks Porto de Mos beach(5 minute walk). 4-6 minute Uber ride to downtown Lagos. Property beautiful, clean and well stocked. We are Americans so here is some things that are different from our standards (not bad just different) Pool water chilly (end of June and still quite cold) But we knew going in that heating pool not an option, Spa is NOT a hot tub, has jets but water not warm. Again not a big deal. Air Con. Not up to American standards… does not cool below 22… could be architectural feature of house 0pen with lots of gorgeous views. (But also lets heat in). Would DEFINITELY stay here again. Love property, Cristina was wonderful. Great Family trip! Would inquire about future construction on street…Empty lot next door. Wouldn't want construction noise during vacation.

Beyond our expectations
When we first saw Port de Mos on line, it looked too good to be true. The villa is even better than the pictures portray. Our hostess, Cristina, was delightful and most helpful with suggestions around Lagos. The property was spotless and everything was in perfect condition. The villa is a five minute walk to a lovely large beach. Driving around Lagos was quite easy and we spent several days wandering around the "old town." In a week's time, we ate at many restaurants in Lagos and never had anything but a wonderful meal.

Overall Excellent Property
Overall an excellent property in a lovely location with restaurants close by and I would definitely recommend/return. The host, Cristina (Ideal Homes) had excellent communication, was very welcoming and made us feel at home the instant we arrived. Not criticism, but for feedback/awareness: - it was missing 5* attention to detail: only 4 seats on balcony with 3 double/twins rooms with access, only limited welcome pack, pool/jacuzzi not heated so predominately summertime use. - there are some empty building plots in the vicinity of the property which may be developed in the future. However, any building already under construction locally is being completed with consideration for neighbours.

Wir würden sofort wieder buchen!
Geniale Villa mit herrlicher Aussicht und Pool, alles sehr sauber! Kommunikation mit der Vermietungsagentur ohne Probleme. Einzig die Küche ist wein wenig spärrlich ausgestattet.

Wonderful House
The house was perfect for our family gathering. Plenty of room for everybody, easy stroll to the beach and restaurants. Only downside is the the "hot" tub wasn't able to be heated so it was really a "cold" tub.

Algarve Traum
Wir trafen eine wunderbare Villa mit einer traumhaften Aussicht an. Es hat unsere Erwartungen übertroffen und wir würden jederzeit diese Villa wieder mieten und können es auch mit gutem Gewissen weiterepfehlen. Auch das nahegelegene Meer war zu Fuss schnell zu erreichen:-)

Pleasant villa
The villa and management were both very pleasant. We could not use the pool at all as the water was very cold late October and no heating. Also we were struggling a hit with the temperature in the house. It’s airco or heating. We had some colder as well as warmer days.
