An awesome home… accommodated everything we needed! Beautiful clear lake, fishing off the dock was so fun for the kiddos… our hosts were amazing we had ZERO issues and any questions we had were answered in a timely manner!!! We highly recommend it! Love that they had condiments on hand, toys for the kids kayaks, balls, many chairs to put around the fire!

Perfect long weekend at the lake

We had an amazing weekend at this lake home. Communication was great before and during our time. Everything was clean and labeled well. There were many amenities provided to us, including outdoor and indoor toys, chairs, kayaks, bedding, puzzles, and garage space. The stocked kitchen made it easy to cook and clean up. We had never been to the Alexandria area before but this turned out to be a great location. We were within 5 minutes of many parks, walking trails, breweries, and ice cream! The fishing off the dock was convenient and the fish were abundant! Our group included 4 small families (grandparents, 3 adult "kids" and 7 grandchildren ages 1-13) and the 4 bedrooms and couches made it the perfect size for us. We would love to stay again!!

Great stay

Beautiful home over looking the lake, plenty of sleeping room and everything you need, Rhett and Katie were wonderful hosts, only stayed 1 night but will definitely book for a longer stay next year. Highly recommend this home.

We had such a wonderful stay in Alexandria. The house is filled stocked with everything you need, the outdoor space is beautiful and lots of outdoor toys to keep everyone happy. The hosts are wonderful and very helpful.

Family Vacation

We had a wonderful time at this lake home. We made lots of memories and the fish was really good considering it rained a whole day. I caught my first northern ever on this lake. The swim area was really. Ice for the kids didn’t have hardly any weeds and the lake was clear. I would definitely come back again to stay another time. Everything in the house was super nice and clean.

Great location

We stayed here to go visit some wineries local and enjoy some lake time. It was a perfect location close to the wineries. The lake was clear and it was perfect to float and kayak. Recommend for a large group with lots of space

Wonderful stay on Cowdry

Our family had a wonderful stay on Lake Cowdry. The Marsten’s cabin had everything you could possibly need. Plenty of space for my husband and kids and grandparents too! The lake is lovely and calm and kayaking was amazing. We were also able to rent a pontoon from Vacationer’s Inn and had a day on the lake! Thanks so much for sharing your home with us!

Great place!

What a wonderful, clean place for our family! Easy to find, great communication. I have stayed at a number of VRBOs and this one was by far the best stocked with everything you will need. We spent our days swimming, fishing, kayaking, and just relaxing by the lake. We had plenty of space for us all and the outdoor lake area was perfect for yard games, etc. The only thing we didn’t love but is out of the owner’s control was the busier road out front. We definitely recommend this place to others!

Great Lake Vacation Home

We had a wonderful time here with our kids and grandkids, ages two and four. The house and lake shed is very well-equipped and our son caught a lot of bass and a northern. We've stayed in places with pet hair and odors, so really appreciated the cleanliness of this home. Highly recommend!

Great family vacation space

Wonderful place to stay for a family vacation. We had 2 kids and 6 adults..so nice for all the grownups to have a bedroom. The outdoor use space was beautiful. Both my granddaughter and her momma loved laying in the hammock and reading. The outdoor stuff provided..life jackets floaties, kayaks along with chairs to use around the firepit let us take full advantage of the home. The host was very communicative and quick to reply to any questions. And the list of things to do before leaving was very minimal.

The water toys were great. Floaties, kayaks, and lifejackets were very nice to have. The hammock was a big hit with everyone. Great sunfish fishing right from the end of the dock. Would stay again.

Wonderful VRBO

Beautiful lake setting and sandy shallow beach for grandchildren. Home has plenty of room and enjoyed the kitchenette in the downstairs area for daughter and infant and family.

Great Lake house in Alexandria area

Great Lake house exactly as advertised. House was very comfortable for our group of six and we enjoyed the lake access. Location was great in that it was close to town but in the country enough to be really quiet.

Perfect vacation home for everyone!

One week of TOTAL ENJOYMENT! The home is furnished with everything you need for a week of fun and relaxation! So close to Alexandria that if you did forget something or need an item, it was only a few miles to get it. The water was clear and the fishing was great! The yard close to the lake was good size and the hosts had life vests for every size and age, tubes, kayaks, and games (outdoor and indoor) for all of us to enjoy! If we had questions, the hosts answered immediately! One of our BEST VACATIONS EVER!

A Lakeside Vacation

It was a wonderful chance for our family to get together. The location is wonderful - close to Alexandria for stores and restaurants, close to the biking trail and Lake Brophy County Park which has a great playground for kids. We enjoyed kayaking on the lake which is on Alexandria’s chain of lakes. Kayaking into Taylor Lake and Lake Stony was particularly nice. The shed has outdoor games, floats, life jackets and 2 kayaks. The kitchen had everything you need to prepare meals and came with lots of dishes, Our 7 year old had a wonderful time catching sunfish off ofthe dock. The bass remained elusive, but they’re out there! It was a wonderful time for everyone.

Wonderful family getaway

Clean spacious for our family, lots of amenities, clear quiet lake, lots of fish to catch, we had a great time, this is a perfect place to get away with your family and just hang out. The owners were in touch with us and made the whole process very easy. Would recommend thiem and their place to everyone, being close to town and its such a nice town with much to offer makes it just another wonderful perk. We were a group of 6 adults and 2 young children and felt at home the minute we walked in the door, our family would like to come back, hopefully next year.

Fantastic Lake House

Awesome house on a beautiful lake. House was clean and comfy and had thought of everything we might need (including a Brita, ice cubes, and good coffee for the morning - thank you!). Took a lovely evening kayak ride and my son loved fishing from the dock. Hope to stay again next year when we're in town for the same event!
