When I went to check in I did not have a reservati

As I said above when I went to check in they did not have my reservation. I'd like to know what happened. Also the charges are still on my credit card and I bought the insurance in case I needed to cancel. I am not very happy with you or the hotel.

Horrible stay! The room was beyond filthy and literally smelled like rotten produce. The office was closed the entire weekend we were there. Amenities? Let's just saythere are none!! Quality of service- HORRIBLE!!!!! The Starbuck area is very nice!! I would definately not recommend the cedar inn at all !!!

Avoid if possible.

They did not have enough towels for everyone. They only gave dry towels when we asked and very very limited it what they gave us. Came and removed our coffee maker because another room's broke. Carpet stained everywhere. We would not walk barefoot in there.

For sale for a reason

The cleaning staff were friendly, but they cleaned our room the first day and never brought us clean towels so I had to go but us some to use, I told the owner I expected a discount, but never saw them again. They weren't there when we left, so we left our key under the mat and called to leave a message we were leaving - to check in, most of our party had keys left under the mat. (We happened to catch someone in the office and checked in.) The rooms were uncomfortable and felt dirty, although they weren't. Mattresses were uncomfortable. It's too bad, since it's in a great location. Hopefully it will sell and be renovated!

needed a place close by for family reunion

Arrived, needed a new door knob, placed our bags inside, went to family's house, returned later to find key in door. Cleaned room every day except last day. After cleaning room, left the door unlocked every time. No overhead lighting, poor lighting, old TVs--not a big deal, shower was clean, outdated decor, hard and uncomfortable mattress, the sink was in the bedroom so everyone had to come into bedroom to brush teeth. Could have been better

Somewhat dated but adequate. Only hotel in area that we could find that would accept dogs. Small town atmosphere with some of the most friendly people we have ever met. We were at a community fund raiser and talked to a small group that recommended a local cafe for breakfast. We went the next morning and when finished asked for the check, to our surprise someone had called and told them not to charge us and they would stop by to pay!

Not a good place to stay.

It was dirty by the front door, the freezer froze her food and there was no setting on it, and the toilet seat was broken. The good thing was that the towels were really nice and the housekeeper did a very good job and cleaning our room for our overnight stay. It would be a good location for a nice motel if you had somebody run it that put some money in it. Not worth the money that we paid to stay there.

Poor rating

Very loud a/c. Very loud bathroom fan. Remote control did not work. Strands of hair on sheets. No personal contact with anyone. Would not recommend or stay there again. Only double beds.

Would Recommend

The owners were very nice and very helpful, both when I called and when I talked with them face to face. Room was comfortable and everything I expected. The shower was very nice, unlike many places I've stayed where the water pressure is sub par. Fridge, TV, and microwave all worked, I would definitely stay again if I am in the Starbuck area.

What a dive

This average price room was if bad shape. The couch and carpet were stained. Decided to drive the 3 hours home then spend the night in the room.

Ok stay for the weekend

It was what I suspected for the price, average size two room unit that has a TV in each rooms for those who like watching TV (non flat screen TV). More ideal for the weekend fisherman stay (good walleye and bass fishing lakes), The hotel is close to harbor boat landing (about 2-miles) and they have average size bait and tackle shop at the Hotel. Limited location places to park your boat,but I did not have any issue with parking my boat.

i paid for the room online thru online order, and the hotel called asking me for a credit card, they didnt show they had been paid, and they had never heard of the online ordering i used. the TV's were so old, when you turned them on, a small dot in the middle of the TV showed first, and the picture finally grew out in about 2 minutes.
