House was very clean and is perfect for a stay with a large group. We enjoyed playing games in the game room and had plenty of seating and beds throughout the house. Everything was in good working condition. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, very peaceful!! Loved the big windows facing the lake. Host was very communicative and accommodating. Would love to stay again!!!

The cabin was perfect for our family weekend. It slept 3 families comfortably and the game room was a nice “extra” area for the kids to play and hang out. The lake is beautiful, you are able to enjoy the water with the kayaks provided.Tom communicated quickly and was kind enough to accommodate our request for a little later check out due to an event we had. Safe to say we will be back!

This was a beautiful property with a spacious lawn and sandy beach. We loved having the big game room for rainy days and the 2 large bunk rooms were comfortable and were great for all the kids. We did a girls room and a boys room. Lots of towels and linens and huge washer/ dryer. Would've been nice to have a master bathroom, but we made it work with the 2 bathrooms. Overall, great stay and would definitely come back!

Fishing Group

Beautiful place with a great, nice, big and flat lawn from cabin to lake. Lots of space and bedrooms. We are a group who meets once a year to fish, play lawn games and cards. Perfect place for us to meet. Only disappointment was boat lifts were already out, but we survived. Tom was very responsive to our emails. Great host.

We Loved Lake Ida!

We had a very enjoyable vacation on Lake Ida. The home was very well furnished and clean. The kitchen has all the modern conveniences you would need. There were lots of activities for the kids and plenty of outside spots for the adults to rest and relax. Tom (the host) was readily available and quick to respond to questions.

A beautiful stay in Alexandria

Fun in and out of the lake in this spacious lovely rental! We were only here for a few days, but would have loved to stay longer if our plans allowed for it! Next time we would definitely rent a pontoon to explore the lake more. It was a relaxing, fun stay and the house was spotless!

Had a great time!

My family and I had a great week. The house is large enough to handle all 11 of us with the big kitchen and the fun game room. We played softball, soccer and Kubb on the spacious and level lawn. We spent most of our time on the sand beach swimming and lounging. Highly recommend this home.

This property checks all the boxes (and then some)

We had 6 adults (40-70 yo) & 5 kids (3-18). There was something for everyone. The game room was a hit with the kids & grandpa! We had to remind grandpa to share the pac-man game. ;). Beautiful lawn & sandy beach was great for kids specifically toddler. Dock in great condition. We were able to tie up 2 fishing boats, a rented pontoon & 2 jet skis!!!! Great fishing. 18 yo caught 21 inch walleye! House/kitchen well stocked. Lots of space for everyone to sit and eat together. Plenty of sleeping/relaxing space, too. There is limited pantry space in the kitchen, so we used a tub with a lid for dry goods. Plenty of fridge/freezer space. Owner provided videos of stove operation etc. those were very helpful. I recommend future guests take 5 minutes to watch. Washer & dryer were large capacity & worked great! Fantastic week! We would rent again.

Lake life!

We had 10 adults and 1 toddler! There was plenty of beds and space! We brought our wave runners to play on the lake and the water was perfect! The lake is plenty big enough! The pictures show a fire pit but there wasn’t a fire pit! Bought S’more’s and couldn’t make them! There were no cleaning clothes in kitchen! They provided only 1 trash bag/recycle bag! I’m surprised I would have to buy a box of trash bags for a 3 night stay at a VRBO! Brought out the ping pong table to play and after laying flat we decided not to play because it was already janky and ready to fall apart therefore My family could never play on the table! I was charged for a ping pong table replacement! I told Tom there was no damage to home or their possessions upon my departure! Yet Tom charged me over $500 for a new table without even discussing with me! Beware, if you buy the insurance you may be charged for wrongful damage! Thank you Tom for turning a beautiful relaxing vacation into a Sour, will never rent from you again, kind of vacation! Ginger

Wonderful Family Get-Away

Great amenities for our family vacation. We enjoyed alot of time on the water. The lily pad is so much fun! The kayaks were used by all, ping-pong in the evenings, and great sleeping accommodations. We wished two things about the coffee makers: 1. We wished we had known there was a Keurig so we could have come prepared. 2. We wished the coffee maker exceeded 5 cups. We hope to return next summer! Thank you!!

Great time!

We had a great time with our family. We spent most of our time playing games in the huge yard and swimming and playing on the beach. The house has a separate game room where we played many a ping-pong match. The kitchen, living room and bedrooms easily accommodated our family of 11. Would recommend this house to anyone.

Lovely Stay on Lake Ida

Our group of 10 had a great stay at this property. Its well appointed, has plenty of space to spread out and fit our needs well. The views of the lake from the living room were A+. We rented a boat and had no problem putting it in at public access (recommend the East ramp) and getting it docked on the property. If we can get schedules coordinated we'll stay again!

Fun spot!

We had a great time here. The property was very clean and well stocked. They had tons of games and activities for everyone of all ages, from card games to shuffle board, mini basketball hoop, darts, bags, sand toys, kickball, kayaks, the lilly pad… we enjoyed it all! We would come back again!

Playtime

The best grassy lakeside area for the kido's. Nice and soft barefoot grass. Soccer, football, kickball, baseball. Our kids nine and under but Moms & Dads and Grandpa playing along. An excellent beach with clean water and gradual slope. Hard sand bottom even past the roomy dock. Perfect for Lilly Pad and kid size kayaks (under 200 lbs max). Found some nice size Crappies off the dock. Very nice home with ample seating for meals. Kids on one table..adults another. Sleeping a little unique with two lofts and spiral staircase. Good contact with owner Tom. About 6 miles to closest bait & light grocery needs. Alexandria about 20 minutes. Had great weather and a real good time. Inside breaks a plenty with two TV's with plenty of Apps for the kids. Lots of good reviews including this one. Lots of reasons to like it. Playtime.

Pleasant Family Vacation

An enjoyable family vacation on the lake for fishing. Kids enjoyed swimming and use of lily pad. Unbelievable how clear the water can be. The property is as described. Tom was responsive and communication was good.

Family vacation

I would highly recommend this cabin. It was neat and well organized. Everything was cleaned upon arrival. Tom was great to work with if we had any questions or concerns. His response time was great. There was plenty of things to do while we stayed there. There were kayaks to use and the lily pad was awesome. We enjoyed the game room as well. The indoor shuffle board game was so much fun for all ages. We were able to rent a jet ski for our stay and it was easy to tie it up at the dock. We even did some fishing from the dock which the teenagers really enjoyed. We are hoping to return again next summer for another vacation. We were so fortunate to find this place. The location was easy to find and the neighbors were great. I would give this place a perfect 10.

Great accomodations

This property was very spacious for our family of 10 ranging in age from 3 through 79! The extras available including: beach toys for the younger children; the game room was very nice; lily pad for all ages and canoes for the older guests and a beautiful view of Lake Ida ; Very nice dock with easy lake access without a lot of stairs!! Our week went very fast!!
