  • This charming deluxe waterfront vacation cottage is all about location. It is located in the heart of the village of Alexandria Bay aka A-Bay. It is next to the RiverEdge Resort and you can walk to everywhere in the village including Uncle Sam’s Boat Tours where you can take a boat ride to the beautiful Boldt Castle or the storybook Singer Castle. The property has a spacious wood burning fire pit that overlooks the mighty St. Lawrence Seaway where you can ship watch. The cottage sleeps up to 10 adults (maximum) with 4 private bedrooms and 2 baths. The house was original build in 1863 has be recently remodeled. It is tastefully decorated with a wood paddle theme. The full kitchen boast ample room for preparation to save money during your family vacation by eating in. This all season cottage has heating and air conditioning in each room. Dock rental is available for an $35 per day extra fee. Sorry NO Pets allowed on the property. Nice note*** the property owners and managers live next door if you ever need anything during your stay, they can assist. This one of a kind property has been voted Number 1 vacation rental in Alexandria Bay 7 years in a row. It is in a key spot for nearby fishing, scuba, boating, touring, sailing, jet ski riding, the village beach, playgrounds, kayaking, a view of Boldt Castle from property and near by other castles and grand island mansions, restaurants, Night Clubs and Bars, Shopping, Tour Boars, Boat Rentals, Drive-In Movies, Fishing Guides, Vineyards, Distilleries, Golf, Go-Carts, Tennis, Pickle Ball, Distilleries, Wine tastings, and Shopping. Maximum occupancy is 10 people, no sleeping on cots, air mattresses or couches.

A wonderful property in a wonderful location! Louise and Court were great hosts and super helpful. We rented the property for my dad’s 60th birthday and it was perfect. Highly recommend!

Upon arrival we were met by the homeowner in person to explain a few things and she was available throughout our stay for anything we needed. The house was just as described and very clean & cozy yet had enough room to spread out. The beds were comfortable, which is always a plus when renting so I always try to comment on the beds for others! We had a truly enjoyable time celebrating the nations 250th birthday here & watching the fireworks right fromThe back yard!

Rented for a high school friend getaway. A lot of overworked women ready to laugh relax and chill. This house ticked all the boxes for with everything. Location and as amazing we walked everywhere. Court and Louise were the best and very prompt in responding. Can’t wait to book again!

Great place in the heart of Alexandria Bay. Walking distance to all restaurants and shops. Hosts were very accommodating. Definitely recommend staying here.

Great time

We had a great time the house was a bit larger than I expected and it has a great boat dock we put to use. We will definitely be checking in again if we head up your way.

We will definitely be returning to paddles on the porch. The location is excellent and the house itself was perfect for our group. Looking forward to rebooking for Summer of ‘26!

Beautiful property

The property was beautiful over looking the river, the location was fantastic and within walking distance to bars and restaurants with so much to do in this area. The rooms and house was spacious and plenty of room for our girls weekend of 10!

Paddles on the porch was perfect!

We really enjoyed our stay at paddles on the porch. The house had absolutely everything we needed a more. A great location within walking distance to shops and restaurants. You won’t be disappointed!

Great place

Stayed with group of friends and house was great in great location able to walk to town and view and outside fire pit was thoroughly enjoyed! Had everything you need and very clean. Would definitely go back and Louise was very nice and helpful.

Paddles on the Porch is a perfect location, beautiful views and walking distance to everything in town. The house has great vibes and was nice and clean. It has everything you need for a longer stay... we didnt need to bring anything but ourselves, fun and food. It is very well equipped and the hosts were great! We wull definitely return 🥰

Great place!

This was the ideal spot for our family. Our 7 year old could fish right off the dock! There was plenty of space both inside and out. There was a great patio and outdoor fire pit! This home was walking distance from to the restaurants and shops! Best get away ever!

Simply Great!

Great hosts and location make this place. Excellent communication and easy check in from the start made us feel welcome. The house was built in 1863 but has been updated for all the modern amenities. Very clean and comfortable. The outdoor deck and fire pit area offer a great view of the bay and Boldt castle. Docks are well kept and protected from wind and traffic, easy in and out.

Feels like home

Thus is our 6th time at Court and Louise place and as always it was perfect! Looking out to see sunset over Boldt castle is awesome. Kitchen is well stocked for family dinners!! Beds are super comfy!! Love this place!! Joan

Views and Property are Perfect

Overall this is a great property! We were able to tie up our boat for the weekend and walk right up to the house. Everything was clean and well updated, views from the property were second to none and it's an easy walk to downtown. Highly recommend!
