Fabulous week in Majorca

Really fantastic property situated in a quite area and yet within walking distance to the lovely old walled city of Alcudia.Pool and house amenities were great. There were a couple of items that needed some small maintenance which were attended to immediately after we flagged with the owner.Really good service and a lovely property. Would highly recommend.

Fantastic Villa

After reading a negative review we were a little nervous for stay but we shouldnt have been. We found the villa to be clean, spacious and well equipped. The owner was amazing, very friendly and helpful. 5 star review from us (family of 10), we all loved it. Thank you Tolo (& Coco)

Great location and wonderful villa. But pool was extremely dirty, with broken and missing tiles and lose deck boards. No maid service or pool maintenance during our stay. Overall the property is in need of repairs and maintenance.

The house location, premises and surroundings are absolutely perfect. Close to the old town of Alcudia The mainhouse is really in a need of an overall refresh. Dirty spa and pool at take over. Was fixed asap upon request after a few days. Kitchen utility tools were old and dirty. Basement/gym was dirty and does not look like in the pictures. No change of linning during the 6 days.

Great Location and stay

We had a wonderful stay in Alcudia. We are so glad we stayed there vs Palma- it was much more laid back. The town was within walking distance and with many shops and restaurants. Overall the home was great for our stay, but there were a few things that would have made it better. -There is no dryer or clothes line to hang clothes after they are washed. (add a dryer) -Fill up the hand soap to full in all the bathrooms- by the time we got to the 4th day they were all empty. -A starter roll of paper towels in the kitchen would have been nice.

Loved it here

The house is very nice, super comfortable with everything you need to spend a nice vacation. The location is very good, it is a quiet residential area but blocks from the fortress of Alcudia where there are restaurants, business and nightlife besides being very picturesque. It is 15 minutes from Pollença that has some very nice big sandy beaches. It is near Formentor, a must-see promenade in Palma de Mallorca. It is also 15 minutes from the port of Alcudia, a place with restaurants, shops, games for children and sandy beaches. There are also supermarkets nearby. The host was attentive during our stay, although he was not there to receive us, as well as the people who work in the maintenance and cleaning.

A delayed holiday made possible at last.

All the accommodation was excellent, with sufficient space for us all. It was so good to be able to swim in the pool whenever we liked, especially for the children. Being able to walk to the sea and swim from a small bay was a bonus, and one we enjoyed early morning as well as later in the day. We all enjoyed Alcudia! We were extremely impressed with your ability to meet our request to leave later. The ladies who arrived to clean the house, suggested we leave our cases in one of the rooms, while they worked in the other rooms. Please give them our thanks.

Bacares Grand villa - July 22

We have just returned from a wonderful break at Bacares grand villa , having been postponed for 2 years . During which time , Gabriel was very supportive & helpful . He will try and sort out any problems you may have . The villa is excellent for a large group , the rooms are all big , with an en-suite . The children loved the pool , it was hard to get them out . Fresh towels & beach towels are provided & changed after 3 days , as is the bed linen . Alcudia old town is lovely , with shops and eateries . We enjoyed a last meal , with live music from a street musician & the children dancing along to it . We would definitely go back . The only negative is that floors are very slippery when you get out of the pool , especially with little ones .

The location was excellent - the house just amazing The Hot Tub should be removed it is old tatty and not working - the TV did not work correctly but it was fixed after 3 days - we needed to use the outhouse but no Keys were found - we asked the agent who is most helpful but they never appeared ! Thankfully we have builders in our family and they managed to gain entrance for our daughter. Hair dryer in the 4 poster bedroom not working - these are very small discrepancies in what was otherwise a wonderful family holiday

Leider sehr verwohnt

Der Kontakt war jederzeit freundlich und bemüht, die Lage des Objektes ruhig gelegen, aber in Laufdistanz zur Altstadt. Leider ist das Haus sehr „gebraucht“. Nichts im Haus oder auf dem Gelände funktionierte einwandfrei, teilweise garnicht. Alles war wenn überhaupt nur oberflächlich gereinigt, so dass der Schmutz und die Rückstände diverser Vormieter allgegenwärtig war. Wer Wert auf Hygiene und Sauberkeit legt, sollte es auf jeden Fall vermeiden sich hier einzumieten, es ist einfach nur eklig.

Nice villa in a very good location

Three families (total 14p) stayed for a week. Very nice house with good amenities. The property OK maintained. Alcúdia old town is easily available for meals shops etc, so the Location is excellent. The agency provided very good information and fixed any issues swiftly. Good overall experience.

schöne Unterkunft mit den ein oder anderen Alterserscheinungen

Die Unterkunft ist perfekt für 12 Personen geeignet, die Aufteilung im Haupthaus (je Schlafzimmer ein Badezimmer ist klasse), das Nebenhaus (wahrscheinlich ehemalige Gartenhütte) sollte an der ein oder anderen Ecke noch fertiggestellt werden (Türe/ Wand anstatt Spanplatte); Alles in allem waren wir zufrieden, lediglich erforderliche Wartungs- und Reinigungsarbeiten sollten mit etwas mehr Präzision und Genauigkeit durchgeführt werden. Damit man den ersten Tag bei Ankunft nicht mit Mängelliste und putzen beschäftigt ist ;) Dann sollte diese Unterkunft auch zukünftig eine gute Basis für erholsame Tage sein. Gabriel von der Vermietungsagentur war stets hilfsbereit und konnte die einfachen Probleme in kürzester Zeit lösen. Danke dafür.

Absolut empfehlenswert!

Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit. Das Haus ist wie beschrieben und mit 12 Personen gut bewohnbar. Zu 14 erforderte es Flexibilität. Der Fitnesskeller ist super, allerdings wären neue Tischtennisschläger fällig. Die Ausstattung der Küche war ausreichend, ein paar heile Töpfe in verschiedenen Größen und eine Schere dann wäre das Glück perfekt. Der Service vor Ort war sehr freundlich und Wünsche wurden prompt umgesetzt (Danke Carlos für die Nespresso :-)) Sogar die Handtücher wurden gewechselt, obwohl wir nur eine Woche Aufenthalt hatten. Besonders gut gefallen hat uns die Terasse mit einem herrlichen Ausblick mit Sonnenaufgang und das tolle Grundstück mit Zitronenbäumen, Oliven, Feigen und Limetten kann man später im Jahr bestimmt auch ernten...klasse! Die Lage ist ruhig, ein Fußmarsch von ca 15 Minuten bis zur Altstadt von Alcudia, wo man alles kaufen kann, was das Herz begehrt! Ein Fahrrad zum Brötchen holen könnte man noch in den Keller stellen. Ein Mietwagen macht Sinn für große Gruppen, sonst hat man viel Lebensmittel zu Schleppen. Allerdings nicht von Goldcar!!! Wir würden gern wieder kommen.

Toller Aufenthalt!

Wir waren eine Gruppe von sechs Personen. Das Haus konnten wir bei der Ankunft nach einem kurzen Telefonanruf um 16:00 beziehen. Die Formalitäten (Bezahlung Restbetrag und Kurtaxe) erledigten wir am folgenden Tag. Das Haus war in einem sehr guten Zustand (in allen Bereichen - auch in Punkto Sauberkeit). In der Mitte das Aufenthaltes kam eine Putzfrau vorbei und wechslete die Frottewäsche (jeder hatte bereits schon zwei Sets in seinem Zimmer). Wir hatten insgesamt einen wirklich tollen Aufenthalt - auch Dank herrlichem Wetter. Am Schluss Haus schliessen - Schlüssen in Box versorgen kurzer Anruf in Agentur und bye bye... Verbesserungsvorschlag: kurze Beschreibung was befindet sich wo, WLAN Code, Besen um Terrasse zu wischen oder Stahlbürste für Grillreinigung waren leider vorhanden sein.

Modern villa in great location

The owner /manager was easy to deal with, I particularly liked paying 10% deposit and the balance on arrival as this goes someway to allaying fears about scams etc. I need not have worried as Tolo and Roberto are genuine guys and eager to help. I was even asked if I needed a day or so to visit the bank and arrange the payment of the balance, so a very helpful and flexible approach from the villa manager/owner. The villa is in a great position within walking distance of the old town where there are many restaurants, also you can walk to a local beach. There are many other beaches just a short drive away and parking was never a problem. The villa is modern with a great pool which is quite deep so maybe extra care is needed with young children who aren't happy when they can't reach the bottom although our 3 year old granddaughter was very happy swimming about with armbands but more nervous kids might have a problem. I think the villa has had some alterations recently as at the time we booked the photos may have been a bit outdated but they still give a good indication of what to expect, although the lounge did not have such a smart appearance as the photos suggest. The villa is secluded with nice views of the mountains, once in the villa you could be miles from anywhere as the outlook is so good. We didn't use the basement with pool table and weights etc apart from using the washing machine. The severe storm on arrival had partially flooded the basement and although it dried out quickly it was still very musty and will probably stay that way as it never gets aired. The weather after the storm was great and we had really good family holiday. Tolo/Roberto swiftly dealt with a couple of issues so I am citied the in recommending this villa.
