Lovely super clean unit in complex (adobe style). unit expansive with a kitchen large enough for 2 wheelchairs (we are partially disabled, not in wheelchairs but walk with canes; place would be good for people in wheelchairs.) Found unit after typing "disabled access" into filters. 2 large lovely bedrooms with comfy (firm) California King beds. Adjoining bathroom (shower only) in one; bathroom (shower) close to 2nd bedroom..
Difficult to shower; narrow & have balance issues due to inner ear damage from chemo & chemo-induced neuropathy. LOVE the book themed decor. Close to Old Towne for people with no disabilities. But we did walk, stopping twice to rest feet.
Old Town louder than used to be (Parents have lived in ALBQ since 1988 so visited Old Towne often). trucks with noise enhancing exhaust systems but went up onto balcony of old hotel brew Pub & enjoyed sunset. Beautiful church (locked, can't get in)
Difficult to find at night. Stopped at Little Anita's & server could not figure out google map & she is native ALBQ resident. Called owner, she helped us get there. One block away from L Anita.
One day, we & 94 year old mother locked in (outer safety door). Worker came by & spoke to owner on phone. She said "Turn the lock" Didn't work. Worker told her "needs graphite." She instructed him to open lock box, get key & let us out. Prone to panic attacks. Bad one after 20 min. locked in. Construction noise. But lovely unit
