The villa itself was clean and tidy with all the necessary facilities. However, as we were staying slightly out of season, the temperatures dropped at night, and the bedding only had very thin "duvets" which meant it was very cold on the first night, as we couldn't find any extra blankets. When we reported this the next morning, extra blankets were delivered later that day, which were very welcome.Also, we were somewhat disappointed with the check in/check out process, as we would have appreciated a bit more flexibility. Check in was from 4pm, and we advised the Host management we would be arriving at 3-30pm, and would it be possible to have access from then, or store our luggage. But we were told this was not possible and that the key code for entry would only be made available at 4pm. Then, on the day of departure, we again requested, that if we vacated the villa by 10am (as per the booking arrangement) would it be possible to either store our luggage inside or leave it under cover outside for a couple of hours until our airport transfer arrived. Once more we were told this was not possible, but we could use their left luggage facility in Albufeira, which would have meant getting another taxi into town, and redirecting out transfer to a new pick up point.In the end we brought our transfer forward and spent a couple of hours at the airport instead. Theses are just minor quibbles, but if the management company had been a bit more helpful, it would have been appreciated.
