This property is not what it seems. The pictures in the listing appear to be the same ones from when the current owners purchased the house years ago, and it's clear the property has been through years of rental use with no regard for upkeep. What you see is a complete misrepresentation of a house that is dirty, unsafe, and in a state of disrepair and neglect.The problems started the moment we arrived. The backyard pictures look like it would be a great space for recreation. In reality, it is a large mound courtesy of the septic tank underneath, made unusable by a rocky terrain and a horrid smell. The pool area, the main reason we booked, is surrounded by an untended hardscape, overrun with dead weeds.Inside, the house was visibly unsanitary. Walking barefoot on the stairs and upstairs hallway carpet, our feet immediately picked up crumbs and hair. One bathroom sink was coated in old toothpaste, and a quick wipe of the kitchen floors after a spilled water bottle left the paper towel filthy from the existing dirt on the floor. Thick layers of dust covered the vents and crown molding, a clear sign the home hasn't been properly cleaned in ages.Beyond the filth, the home is in disrepair. The old couch is heavily worn and smells, which is no surprise as it appears to be the same one from the previous listing photos. The lack of basic upkeep is everywhere.
