Code given was wrong for the door, i call and message the hosts but no one answered.. i stand outside the house for 1 hour trying to get in touch with the host..i call vrbo and they help me to get in touch with the host.. hot tub function didn’t work, water was cold on the pool, maintenance guy came to check on the pool heater but they need to replace a piece.. the area is nice and quiet but not as it was expected

Great place to spend the week !

My family and I really enjoyed this property. It’s quiet, private and just as listed. The owner and host were great and super responsive. Check in couldn’t have been any easier.! My son loved the private pool and hot tub and we really enjoyed the community amenities (pool and lake etc.) and a favorable mention to the awesome refrigerator! And of course the deer that came up to us every day made it even more memorable. We will be back .

Not as advertised/ Host wont respond

Many aesthetic issues with the place not seen in photos. Outdoor area not kept up at all- pool rusty, hot tub functions dont work. Cleaning people were there when we were trying to check in, code given was wrong for door. Mold on the ceiling of the bathroom. I personally tried to contact the host for a refund review, and vrbo staff did as well, and they will not respond to either of us. Not as seen in photos- not well maintained. I can say the area in general is nice and quiet.

Once we arrived- owner was easily accessible by text- responsive to needs- house was comfortable and had everything you needed- AC in each room- good location - pool was a little dirty when we arrived after it rained and owner had some one come over asap and clean it- great stay

Disappointing

We picked this location for its proximity to ski slopes and water parks but picked this rental in particular b/c of the games and foosball table so we could play with our kids. Unfortunately there were NO balls for the table and when I tried to communicate with the owner about that and another question about how to work the ceiling fan he never replied. My husband and I felt cramped and the furniture and bed was pretty uncomfortable. My teens thought it was fine… just a place to rest when not out having fun.Bring your own foosball’s!

Great weekend getaway

My girlfriend and I went up to stay for the weekend. We had an amazing time while at the house. The place was cozy and quiet with a nice fireplace. We used hot tub several times and it aas so relaxing. Even the deer would come within feet of you in the tub. It was a very unique and fun weekend.

Great weekend in the Poconos!

Loved the house… it was comfortable, clean and we had a wonderful weekend enjoy the fall foliage! The property manager was very helpful and friendly as well as the host! Will definitely rent again!

Wonderful place, lovely house

We loved this sweet house in the Poconos. The pool and the hot tub were fabulous,the neighborhood and environs were great. The deer come right up to the deck! Both Joseph and Ann were immediately responsive to our questions and needs. Highly recommend.

BEWARE…

I, like others, decide on where I’m staying based on amenities. If the rental doesn’t have those amenities or if they are misrepresented, that’s a problem for me. The house itself was fine. Far from fantastic or great but also not terrible or bad. It should have been left cleaner as there was still food in the sink. The real sticking points was the advertised “air conditioning”. If it’s been in the 90’s it’s important for me to have AC. When a property is advertised as having AC, that’s what I expect to find. Not a portable window unit that sits in the living room and is supposed to cool the whole house. NOTE-before leaving this review I tried contacting the owner. He apparently doesn’t think it’s important enough and has ghosted me.

Summer Family Getaway

We came up for a nice family getaway from the city. The house was as advertised and the beds were super comfortable. The kids loved the fossball and pac man machine. The weather was mid 70s so we asked for the pool to be heated and it was! The hot tub was also very comfortable and enjoyable. The host left coffee, hot chocolate, snacks, tide pods, dishwasher pods, sponges, bath towels and clothes. The house was very clean. Everything was in working order. Beautiful appliances in the kitchen. The host answered all our questions promptly. We also had access to the public pool, beach and paddle boats! The only reason I gave 4 stars is because garbage disposal was not explained properly and we were asked to pay a disposal fee in addition to our cleaning fee AFTER checkout. The expectation is that you put trash in your car and take it to a disposal site. Not something we knew about or felt comfortable doing. But this was our only complaint. Everything else was great!
