"Beautiful house with plenty of room to spread out in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood. Property is well kept and supplied. Manicured yard was perfect for afternoon lawn games and happy hour. Dock is a great place for fishing, water sports and sunning. Great views of the sound and wildlife from dock and deck. Conveniently located to local towns for day trips and shopping. Owner and property manager are great, a definite keeper for a return visit!"

"The area is completely secluded for a quiet get away. Your host Karen is very attentive to your needs. The apartment was furnished with all the necessities that you think you may need in regard to toiletries and kitchen supplies. The apartment overlooks a beautiful bay of water. "My daughter and I spent a four-day weekend in Edenton at the Southern Porch Charmer which was a house from1920. The inside was beautiful and it was within walking distance to the lighthouse. There is a beautiful park by the lighthouse and it has a really nice playground for children and plenty of benches to just relax by the water. "A Gem! This property has character and intentionality everywhere. I was so impressed with the details and the comfort the space offered. "We enjoyed our stay @ your cottage. It was well equipped and a peaceful location. Some draw blinds over the patio doors would have helped block the sun where we would watch TV but we managed to drape the leg blankets over that doorway and block the sun that way.We will keep your place in mind for another stay."
