Perfect home away home!
Mt Willyung Retreat definitely live up to its name, it is indeed family friendly and a perfect home away from home for the 9 of us. The house was spacious, clean, tidy and it has all the amenities, toys, games and entertainment you need for your holiday. Doreen was an excellent host who welcomed us with open arms and a big smile on her face and we appreciate all her suggestions and recommendations of places to go and visit. We definitely be coming back and we'll be recommending this accommodation to our friends and family.

One of the best holiday accommodations we stayed!
This is one of the best holiday accommodations we had stayed. The place and owner were awesome! We stayed for three nights at Mt. Willyung Retreat with my family last 4 to 7 April 2024. The place and owner exceeded our expectations. Doreen was a very hospitable host who made sure that her guests have a wonderful stay. She was so nice, friendly, accommodating and thorough with the orientation and instructions during the check in. So we know exactly what to do during our stay. The house was tidy, clean and comfortable with a lot of space for the entire family of 9. It was fully equipped with a lot of amenities. There's also plenty of sport activities that the kids enjoyed. But what we liked most, was the peaceful serenity of the country side, the amazing sunrise and sunset with scenic view of the farm, lake and surrounding hills with cattles grazing on them , and awesome star gazing at night, which we're not able to do often in the city. Finally, the location, which was only 10 minutes to Albany CBD, was very central to the tourists attractions we had visited. Thank you so much again Doreen. For sure, we'll be back!

Family Holiday
We had a fabulous family holiday, with both the property and the host (Doreen) exceeding our expectations. We were a group of 6 adults and 4 children and the property had plenty of space for us all and Doreen provided everything we could possibly need, including a regular supply of fresh eggs. Beutiful House in a great location
We enjoyed our stayed as a family.The place is beautiful in a nice quite location.The house was very clean and tidy. The weather was a bit cold but plenty of electric blankets were provided. The mulitple kids toys & play equipment were marvellous. The gardens are beautiful. The fire pit was well enjoyed, along with the marshmellows. The stocked pantry & the eggs were great.

Incredible house on picturesque farmland property

Lovely family home
Beautiful home in a peaceful rural setting, but not too far out of town. Well equipped with everything, including fresh eggs and lemons! Lots of space inside and out. We had a fabulous time together with our adult children, catching up and just being together. Doreen was very helpful and made sure we didn't get lost! Thanks for everything!

Amazing stay with friends and family
Thanks Doreen for such an enjoyable stay at your wonderful property. Perfect base for exploring the beautiful landscape around Albany and then enjoying a relaxing time with our friends and family surrounded by stunning views of the farm. Lovely home with everything you need
Home was beautifully presented and supplied with so much more then you would ever expect from a rental. Host was extremely helpful in all ways. Was just one family but plenty of space for a lot more. Will definitely return for another stay.

Amazing Stay
Best stayz accomodation we have had. House is spacious, kid friendly and beautiful inside and out. Views are breathtaking and the owner is so accommodating and helpful. Beautiful home away from home
Our group of 4 adults and 5 kids totally enjoyed our stay here. The house was comfortable with everything we needed. The view from the kitchen, living area and upstairs bedroom is just spectacular. The host came to meet us in person and showed us around her home. She left us a basket full of fresh eggs, snacks for all to enjoy, milk in the fridge etc. A perfect home away from home. The games room was popular with the kids. We had a hard time telling them to go to sleep they were having so much fun. We are definitely booking again soon. Thanks Doreen

Wonderful Family Vacation
The property is so much nicer then the photos on the website. The house is super clean, cosy and fully equipped. The pantry is full if breakfast items and the farm eggs are fresh and not to mention the avocado. Doreen is a wonderful host and communication with her is easy. The kids enjoy seeing the baby chooks and roasting the marshmallows on the fire pit. There is a ton of activity and games provided inside the house to use indoors or outdoor. Our large family thoroughly enjoyed being in the house and Doreen had lots of suggestions for activities in and around Albany. Overall a great place to stay and would love to be back there again in the future.

Great house!
The house was fantastic, great location my 2 year old loved the little *Harry potter* area under the stairs and watching the cows and doreen was great always willing to do anything to improve your stay, will definitely be coming back.

Amazing stay! 🥑🐄
A group of 7 stayed here and it was an awesome get away! Picturesque views of the avocado trees, rolling hills and lake with cows coming quite close to the property, the house was amazing with lots of room! We made use of the pool table and table tennis!! Doreen was brilliant, kept in touch with us throughout our stay! Recommended the Albany Farmers market which was so nice to see other local farmers and their produce! Great place to stay if you want to check out Albany as well as make your way out to the Stirling Ranges (Bluff Knoll)

A wonderful place to stay
Willyung was everything we had hoped and Doreen was a wonderfully hospitable host. The house was spotless and ideal for us. The farm was lovely to walk around or simply to sit and admire. The property is convenient to Albany city and all its attractions.

Beautiful House
The whole family loved the house! So much space inside and out. The kitchen is huge with all the appliances and panty basics you need plus more. The kids enjoyed playing table tennis and pool. And all the beds are super comfy. Thanks Doreen for a lovely family holiday

Doreen is very good hosts. And we will come back for next holiday, and recommend to friends and family. Kids loved the place and plenty of activity for whole family. Very nice natural location to send holidays with friends and family. Only need fans for first floor rooms in summer. But over all 5 star for the property.

Superb
Our stay at Willyung was spectacular more than I ever imagined. With loads of activities for the kids and a great place for the family to unwind. It is so peaceful. Perfect for extended families
Our family of grandparents, parents and children stayed at Doreen’s house and found it to be extremely clean and well stocked with all the comforts of home. The beds were comfortable and warm on even the chilliest of nights. The farm fresh eggs were delicious and we weren’t expecting such a well-stocked pantry. The views of the farm are gorgeous to wake up to, just like a painting. We highly recommend a stay at your beautiful house, so close to Albany yet still secluded. Thanks so much Doreen!

Hidden gem in Albany
Doreen was very helpful from the moment booking was accepted. The directions to her lovely home was clear and easy to follow on the phone. Upon arrival, we were amazed by her beautiful home which was really well kept. The facilities in the house were more than complete and pantry was very well stocked. We had a good game of table-tennis in the games room. And Doreen was very kind which made us felt at home immediately. She has also provided us with more than generous supply of farm fresh eggs too. We will definitely return to stay at her farm house in our coming visits to Albany. Doreen and her lovely home will be highly recommended to all our friends. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Loved the remote, quiet, country location but only a few minutes drive from Albany. The house was well kept, clean and offered more than we could have expected. The owner was friendly, helpful and informative. Grab an early morning coffee, sit on the balcony and watch the sites and sounds of the country. After dark, go outside and see the stars and constellations. Truly magical

Absolutely fantastic stay! Doreen was great, house was beautiful and big. Kids had a fantastic time
This house was a dream. We will be staying here again for sure. Plenty of room for the kids to run around, play sports or just chill out. Anything we could have possibly needed was available. Coles and woolies about 10 minutes away too! Just wonderful!

Mt Willyung Retreat Albany
Wonderful, beautifully presented accommodation with everything you could possibly need, right down to the fresh farm eggs for your first breakfast. Very consciencous and diligent owner keen to make sure all was well. This was our second visit and we very much hope to return again.

Dear Elizabeth, How nice it was to see you all again though sadly you didn't have the best weather. It has been just so dry after the wonderful rain at the weekend, now already turning green.
