Beautiful home. Great location. Best equiped kitchen ever!The highlight of our vacation was seeing 113 baby turtles just hatched and being released into the ocean the same night! Susie and her husband were amazing and so kind and helpful.

Great place to stay on the beach!

This place is incredible! It is located right on the beach, near great restaurants in Akumal. You can make a short drive and be in Tulum or a cenote. The staff at the house is amazing. Suzy and Marcy cooked us an amazing dinner. Manda is extremely knowledgeable about the area and very responsive.

It was so nice!

Property was more beautiful than the pictures. Staff and Amanda were welcoming and always available. Be sure and stock up at local grocery stores as you won’t want to leave. Kayaking and snorkeling was amazing. Grandkids loved the pool; it stayed pretty warm. Perfect neighborhood and beach.

Beautiful Property

The property is beautiful. There were issues with a few amenities but those were promptly addressed by Jennifer. It was easy to communicate with the Property Manager. The on-site caretakers prepared delicious meals during the stay (not part of the rental) and kept the property clean. We enjoyed our stay here.

We found this property to be exactly what we asked for. It is in a great location with easy access to Playa Del Carmen, Tulum and lots of cenotes. Our family of 10 loved it.

Perfect vacation house!!

I can not say enough wonderful things about this property and location, but the best part was Marcelo and Susie (property managers). They were so good to us and cooked amazing meals. Also, David (with akumal direct) was so helpful with booking airport transfer, excursion and restaurant reservations, and provided recommendations in the area. The house has everything you could need and we felt very safe. I will definately be back. Dont Miss out on this property and experience.. THANK YOU :)

Amazing!

Our stay at Casa del Cielo was absolutely perfect! Marci & Susie were wonderful. Have them cook for you...You won't be disappointed! We snorkeled in front of the house, enjoyed the pool and just relaxed. Jennifer is great. She was very responsive to our questions and helped us book a couple of things. Going directly through Jennifer to book excursion type things is much easier than trying to do it on your own. The house and grounds are gorgeous and well cared for. Words really can't adequately express how much we enjoyed our stay!

Perfect Place for Family Group

Great beach location as shown in the pictures. Very nice pool for kids to play in or for adults to dip. Unbeatable collection of water toys, kayaks, life vests etc for all ages. Very well equipped kitchen. Good beach views from all the rooms except the casita unit behind the house. We didnt have the caretakers cook for us, so cannot speak to that. But, they live just behind the house, so were always available should we need anything. But, not at all intrusive. Highly recommended place.

Wonderful Vacation Home in Quiet Area of Akumal

We had an amazing time at Casa Cielo for our group of 11 adults. The home was in a quiet neighborhood with security at the entrance to the area. The house was fantastic and all of the pictures on the website are accurate. The bedrooms are comfortable and well-appointed. The kitchen appliances all worked well, our only challenge was keeping ice. The freezing process was a little slow, likely due to the heat of the area and 11 people constantly making drinks, but we bought a few bags of ice at the grocery store and had ice most of our trip. We cooked most of our meals and utilized the propane grill several times, as well as the oven and the stovetop. All worked well. The outdoor area was beautiful and where we spent most of our days. The pool was pretty cold (but clean) so most of us opted for the ocean. This is essentially a private beach, only used by other local residents and renters so traffic and crowds on our beach were practically zero. The chaise lounges were perfect for relaxing in the sand. Be aware that the water is quite rocky and lots of washed up coral, but the house has plenty of water shoes that we used to comfortably explore in the water. Snorkeling right off of our beach was fairly good, we saw lots of fish and a few stingrays. This house is fairly remote from Akumal proper. The closest restaurant/bar is a 15 minute walk up the beach and we visited that establishment several times during our stay. We also walked to Akumal town where all of the resorts are, which was about a 45 minute walk on the beach. A cab ride back home was only about 5 minutes. We were really pleased with our separation from the hustle and bustle of Akumal and enjoyed making day trips up to town a few times during our stay. The housekeepers Susie and Mercelo were great to work with. Every day they would clean the house and change the linens, clean the pool and sweep the kitchen. Our fist night we were presented with a great meal of chicken fajitas, and each day we had pastries for the morning. Casa Cielo is definitely recommended, especially if you are looking for something a little secluded and off the beaten path.

Paradise on the beach

Paradise on the beach. We stayed at Casa Cielo with some of our adult children, and our grandchildren, as well as my parents. We had 13 people. The place was amazing. Beautifully decorated. The Pictures of the white sand beach, do not do it justice. Snorkeling, right off the shore from the house, was truly spectacular . We saw a small nurse Shark, Eel, Squid, A lot of fish and pretty coral. I especially enjoyed the paddleboard. The beautiful pool was perfect for our grandchildren, and two of them learned how to swim!. We had the caretakers cook for us on two evenings, and they did not disappoint. Amazing Mexican food. The house stayed nice and cool with the efficient air conditioning, and we slept well. We will definitely return in the future.j

Absolutely love this house!

This house checked all the boxes for our family. We brought mom and dad out for their 50th anniversary and couldn’t have picked a better place! The house was spacious and comfortable for our group of 10, plenty of places to hang out with the group or somewhere to retreat for some quiet alone time of wanted. The private beach was stunning, with a perfect view of the sun and moon rise. The bay is protected by a natural breakwater so we could swim and snorkel even during rough ocean, the bay was always calm enough to jump in the water. The house was always clean and tidy, there was a guarded security at the gate that helped everyone rest easy. Tulum and Coba are an easy drive from there, lots of breathtaking cenotes (Dos Ojos and casa cenote are the ones we visited, I would go back) and of course turtle bay is close enough to walk! I want to bring my kids back to this place next! Simply put it is a great house, great location and a great group of people behind the whole show!

Our vacation was fantastic the house was perfect the paddle board and kayaking was a blast.

Best of all was the property manager Jennifer! Jennifer has it all going she delivered wire and tequila the first not at our request after all day traveling. But it gets better she owns a fabulous restaurant and delivered many meals. We went for my wife’s birthday and jennifer lined up and delivered we had a private fire dancers show she brought flowers for my wife lined up messages bake a birthday cake decorated the house and got a piñata for the kids. She advised us on great temples and snorkeling places she is a true asset to the property and made our vacation forever memorable. Thank you again Jennifer!

Fantastic Villa

This was the perfect house for 2 families. We really enjoyed the private pool and incredible beach access. We did a lot of snorkeling and paddle boarding. The house was spacious and charming. It had the perfect amenities. The hosts were very accommodating and courteous. I would recommend hiring Mr. Marci to prepare a meal. It was a little tricky to find in the dark for the first time, but super easy once we got our bearings.

Best Trip Ever

This house is a dream! Not only were the accommodations absolutely perfect, but Marci and Suzy (the caretakers) were so friendly and attentive to our needs. The house was cleaned daily and towels refreshed, the pool and beach cleaned, and any supplies we needed were taken care of right away. The manager, Jennifer, was so helpful and made sure that we had breakfast, information on where to go/who to see for extra activities, including Cenotes, sailing, and even a rental car (brought to us)! Some of our plans were thwarted because we actually had two hurricanes on our two-week visit, but there was nowhere else I'd rather experience such a natural disaster! The house was a haven. I cannot wait to get back!
