I liked the 6 mile proximity to Kakum National Park. It was quiet and restful though on a moderately busy road. The food was tasty. The room was furnished in an elegant and artistic manner. The pool was spacious and clean.

Room was great. Not 5***** but 4**** However, compare to other similar hotels, at the same price lever, it was like 5***** Great staff. Taxi services need to be added, with RELIABLE driveres at reasonable prices, to visit Kakum or Cape Coast! Very important. Breakfast is good! However, dont use Microwave, to heat bread up! Very clean pool! Would stay there, anytime again!

Room is small with only 1 outlet to plug in anything. To use my curling iron I have to unplug my phone that I need fully charged before going out. The decorative pillows on the bed has a old dusty musty smell and obviously hadn't been cleaned. When I lay in the bed 🛌 my skin keeps itching 😩. The mattress is VERY HARD, but pillows were soft. The Television didnt turn on. The AC turned off on its own. There is no iron in the rooms or blowdryer for your hair. There is no coffee maker either. This location is 41 mins OUTSIDE Cape Coast City which means you cannot order food delivery or the Bolt rideshare which sucks. However they have a restaurant & bar at the hotel and the chef cooks phenomenally good. The front desk agent Rita is SUPER FRIENDLY 👌 and welcoming. She has a great personality too. The chef needs to work on his people skills. Youre talking to him and he looks so unapproachable and like he dont want to be bothered 🙄. I dont want someone with a mean energy preparing my food. The environment is very quiet & peaceful with lots of greenery and locals on the street. The young lady charged me $10 cedis to iron a T Shirt 👕 when I should have free use of an iron in my room. So I paid her the money 💰 lol. Cameras are all over the property as well.

Leider war unsere Buchung über Expedia von der Rezeption nicht auffindbar. Sie behaupteten, dass eine Buchung nicht vorliegen würde. Nach vielem Hin und her konnten wir dann doch ein Zimmer bekommen, jedoch nicht über Expedia. Wurde extra berechnet. Sehr lange Wartezeiten auf's Essen trotz Vorbestellung. Sehr begrenzte Auswahl an Essen. Legen einem die Karte vor, aber am Ende, leid es auf 1 Gericht heraus, was man bestellen konnte.

Receptionpersonal was helpful, the pool was great. The vegetables of the breakfast where horrific. For dinner we ordered 3 different meals but all sauces tasted the same and where overpriced.

Hotel not finished but the essentials are there.

I dont believe that anyone else was staying in the hotel the night I stayed, and this gave the place the feeling of a ghost town, which was deepened by the realisation that the hotel still wasn't quite finished and workmen were still working in the garden. The dining room was completely empty, although the meals I had were satisfactory. The swimming pool was fine but there were no chairs around it, and the pool was surrounded by what was clearly a building site. Inexplicably I had to put my passport details in their book. I refused to do this since there is no legal requirement to do so. They insisted and so I put in a different number. It appeared to be the requirement of some private company that I had never heard of and did not recognise so I recommend to other clients that they should not give these details. Staff were mostly pleasant and helpful. The place is clean and unusually tidy. I hope they get more customers soon and that the workmen are even sooner finished.

Have been here many time before and always great. This time I biotin line paid in advance. They knew nothing and were surprised when I arrived and asked for four rooms for the night.There were no guests so I didn’t understand the problem of putting us near each other. They were having a part coming in the next day. It took them a long time to verify my reservation and paid bill as well as my self because I couldn’t get service to the wife that they supposedly have. In addition they have tv but no remote same with the air conditioning so some had to keep getting help.restuarant has an exstensive menu but the dont have many available. Lastly the rooms are very musty smelling always have been ... it is and alway was a beautiful place . In spite of all those thing I still feel these are simple things that could be changed and it would be perfect for anyone . I love it’s location the style it is charming and up to date not run down. Just know who is coming when you have on line bookings or a reservation that is why it is a reservation...

Misrepresented hotel with no other guests

We were the only guests in the resort and didn’t feel very safe. We were woken up by men building in the next room at 4:30am and since we were in a remote area and two female travellers with no other guests were worried for our safety. The pool wasn’t functional and the bar only served beer - no wine or spirits available. The fish wasn’t fresh and the continental breakfast consisted of a slice of bread and a small egg. It is also much further than we realised to Kakum National Park And had to rely on public transport to get to and from the park - which was fine but just to be aware of the distance! It was by far the worst experience we had with accommodation in Ghana, even when compared to very basic resorts up the coast. Overall we were very disappointed with the resort.

Lovely quiet stay for kakum park

I used this hotel as a base to visit the kakum park and cape coast. A taxi here from cape coast is about 40 cedis and takes about 40 minutes. This means you may need your own car or a driver for a day to make the most of this hotel. I hired a taxi for the day and I'm pleased i did this. It's really an excellent position to visit the kakum park. The hotel is very quiet and peaceful. The rooms are very nice, clean, comfortable spacious and had a little balcony to sit outside. The pool area looked good but I didn't see any chairs so I didn't use it. The wifi was a bit temperamental, and the restaurant was fairly average and over priced. There isn't much you can do in the neighbouring area without a car. The hotel staff can arrange transport etc for you and seemed friendly and helpful. I'd happily return again
