"We had a total of 12 people in our group and this property setup was perfect. People ages 8 months to 65 years. Location was great for exploring Snaefellness but not too far away from Reykjavik to discourage golden circle activities. Road is pretty easy to find, don’t need 4x4 but take it slow. Need cell phone access for getting to the property. We got to see northern lights while there so that was nice. Absolutely recommend staying here"

Auch die Unterkunft selbst ist sehr gemütlich und die Einrichtung bietet alles, was man für einen gelungenen Urlaub braucht. Wir haben hier den Jahreswechsel verbracht und hatten das Glück, an zwei Abenden Polarlichter sehen zu können - perfekt. Auch für Ausflüge ist die Lage ideal. Der Vermieter Jon Baldur war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Vor der Reise haben wir zur Einstimmung jede Menge...

"Das Mietobjekt liegt 10 km von Borgarnes entfernt auf einem kleinen Hügel. Das Haus ist ganz neu, modern und zweckmäßig eingerichtet. Leider fehlte der TV, was uns jedoch nicht störte. Eine Mikrowelle wurde uns auf Anfrage sofort zur Verfügung gestellt. Die Küchenausstattung könnte etwas umfassender sein. Der Vermieter ist sehr nett."

"Skuli was a superb host. He communicated with us several days before our stay and walked us through every step of check-in. His daughter, Christelle, met us in Reykjavik and drove out, leading the way to their home. She was available to answer any questions about how to work the appliances, etc. She was very helpful. The beds were comfortable, the home was pleasant with a well-stocked kitchen, including spices. A big perk was having a washing machine/dryer in the home. Skuli even supplied...

"Great location and quiet setting, close to nature. Good condition of the cabins, although we could not figure out the TV signals - not our priority since we wanted to experience the outdoors. Everything else works well and you feel comfortable. On the dow side, the mosquitoes wouldn't allow us to sleep well. Suggest replacing windows blinds with a darker color to provide shade at night during Summer."
