Good for families

Large family home,great toys for kids and pool table a bonus. Very good communication and clear instructions on how to enter property. A narrow and steep road up to house limits ability to walk to town with small children.

Family & friends wedding accomodation.

Lovely view over Akaroa Harbour from upstairs. We enjoyed our stay. The house was large and just accommodated us all. A couple of wee things like some coffee pods and the beds made as we paid for the linen and towel option would have been good. Overall our stay was very comfortable thanks.

Great relaxed House for groups

Plenty of room for our group of 8 ladies - this house had everything we needed and was in a great location. Lots of room to spread out and relax. Well appointed kitchen & pantry, and more than enough wine glasses :-)

Nice visit

We enjoyed our stay and liked being able to walk into town(15min walk). The view from the master bedroom balcony was lovely! Annette did a great job of keeping in touch and providing all the information we needed. The only suggestion we had to be a 5 star rating would be to update some of the furnishings/decor.

Family holiday

The house was perfect for our family holiday. Unfortunately the weather was terrible and we only had one sunny day. The games room was a blessing. Driveway was challenging with a boat but we managed. A good time was had by us all.

Akaroa Hide Away

After we found the right road (there was no road sign at the start of the road) and negotiated the steep drive we found a very pleasant and well-appointed property. It had everything you need for group or family holiday. There are some repairs needed in the downstairs bathroom, but everything worked well. We were an older group of men and had plenty to do and a family group would find even more.

Perfect for family!

This was perfect for our family stay of 6 adults, 1 x 7 year old and a 7 month old baby. Well equipped and with plenty to keep the 7 year old amused especially as the weather was very wet! We will return sometime!

two day family stay

We were happy with the accomodation, although a little tired. It rained all weekend and were impressed at all the games and entertainment available to keep the kids and ourselves occupied. Over all, a very relaxing weekend.

Our group of six ladies came to Akaroa to walk The Banks Pennisula Track. Seaclusion was our base for two days after the walk to explore Akaroa. Lovely house with lots of room for us to spread out. Well provisioned with everything we needed. We even enjoyed the walk into and back from town

Family wedding

Couple of feedback comments - would be great if there was body wash provided and extra toilet paper. Some towels might need a few washes. They were dry but the ones that felt wet when you used them. We were down for a family wedding so did not spend a great deal of time at the property.

Great for larger family groups

Great location although the driveway is quite steep to get out off. The pool table and games were much appreciated and the property was large enough to have everyone together or to have their own space. Well equipped kitchen and large dinning table. Excellent communication from Annette, the property manager.
