"Our stay in Sea Friend was lovely. Comfortably located 150 m. from Aharen Beach, is a really convenient option. They have a shuttle service to pick you up from Tokashiki Port after you get off the ferry, the personel was very helpful and we definitely had a great time."

The hotel was also an easy two minute walk from Aharen beach and less than that for a walk to the store and island restaurants. Couldn’t recommend this more! "We came to this hotel and this beach because it is known for sea turtles. My wife and I took turns snorkeling in the bay directly from the beach. We did not do a boat tour and talk to anyone about their location. On the second day while I was snorkeling in 5 feet of water approximately 30 feet from the beach I saw the first turtle eating off the ocean floor. I was startled to see it so close and was in awe of how beautiful it was. I assume the turtles are used to seeing snorkeling humans...
