  • The Restoration Hideaway offers a one bedroom, one bathroom, fully furnished apartment with a kitchen near Yosemite National Park. This serene yet secluded location is positioned off of the main Highway 49 without any sight or sound of it. Breezeway to separate the space from the main house. Queen bed plus futon available in the room, as wells pullout bed in the living room.
    The space was a thriving rental with five star hosts. The current owner is committed to providing outstanding hosting and service available.

    Surrounded by mountains. Breathtaking sunsets. Numerous outdoor activities only minutes away. Museums, rivers and parks galore! 30-40 minutes away from the Yosemite National Park.
    Guest access
    Full use of the apartment. Free parking for cars and trailers. Please no pets.
    Other things to note
    Nearest diesel gas is in the town Oakhurst, about 7 miles away. Closest regular gas is about 3 miles away. Grocery stores, restaurants, movie theater etc. in Oakhurst.

We had a great stay at this cozy little hideaway. It was comfortable, relaxing, and the hot tub was a perfect bonus. Communication from the host was excellent throughout, which made everything easy and stress-free. We really enjoyed our time here and would definitely stay again.

We were greeted by the owners when we pulled up and experienced nothing but an amazing time! Hot tub was great as well as the location and we experienced zero issues. It was nice that a washer and dryer are there too and even though we brought our own detergent the host also had some there! Highly recommend!!!

This was an absolutely wonderful experience. The hospitality was incredible, a fire was made for us in the evening and everything was perfectly put together. Would have booked for more nights if it was available. We will be back! Thank you so much.

Our son enjoyed his stay. The place was clean. He especially liked having the hot tub after a long day of hiking. The drive to the Yosemite Valley was about 1.5 hour.Con: Unexpected and undesired wake-up call by a rooster crowing early morning. And the space seemed small to fit 4 adults (especially small pull out beds) but probably ok for a couple with 2 kids.

The property was as advertised, well appointed with special features, and extremely comfortable. Enjoyed a nice view of the sun set in the evening and the sun rise in the morning. The surrounding area has plenty of restaurants and supplies making this a perfect gateway to Yosemite, our ultimate destination. While our visit was brief, we would gladly stay here again when in the area.

sadly there was no wifi on the property on both days of our stay and we only found out when i messaged the host that i could not find the wifi named on the check-in post-it note. both the pull-out couches were super short (i’m fairly short and my heels were right by the edge, my boyfriend hang off the bed). the hot tub was really nice and the bathroom was spacious. however, there was only shampoo and no body wash, this was the first rental i’ve been in that didn’t provide that. there were quite a bit of ants on the property. i saw that there were ant traps but sadly they weren’t working too well. the hosts lived right next door and they walked by a number of times so sadly it wasn’t as isolated and private as we had hoped. there was also a rooster on the property that would not stop screaming in the mornings LOL

Our stay here was wonderful! We met the owner right away, and she was so nice and great with our kids. There was a lot of great info in the welcome book, and some nice little perks like coffee and toiletries. This place was so cute and cozy, and although it was too hot outside to use the hot tub, it looked very nice. We would definitely stay here again!
