"Very good hotel. Having kitchen with a fridge is a great advantage if you stay for more than three nights. It’s a bit far from touristic places which is not necessarily good or bad but great thing is that there’s a bus stop nearby with a free rode to the city center. The beach is 10-15 minutes to walk. Administrators are the nicest people who were there to navigate us in our first days on Crete."

Restaurants and shopping district within walking distance. The host guided me through greatly with finding a parking spot which I appreciate very much. "Das Hotel war sehr sauber, das Essen und der Service sehr gut. Es ist eine kleine Anlage mit kurzen Wegen. Die Atmosphäre ist sehr angenehm und entspannt. Unser Zimmer war sehr groß und schön renoviert, nur der Balkon war sehr klein. Nach ca 10 min zu Fuß war man im Zentrum. Direkt über die Straße war das Meer, aber kein Strand bzw nur sehr grober Kies. "

"What a gorgeous, hidden gem in the village of koutouloufari. We have been visiting the villages for many years and this has been our favourite place to stay. Sandika is the closest you will get to a villa in or even near to koutouloufari without paying villa prices. We stayed in apartment 8 which was spacious and beautifully clean. There was wine, cake, honey, coffee in the apartment on arrival and all free to use. We have stayed in some expensive accommodation in Crete and never had a welcome...
