Country house in the Perigord

  • ALQUILADO ALQUILA UNA SEMANA SOLO DE SÁBADO A SÁBADO

    Está enclavado en el hueco de una roca, fue construido a finales del siglo XIX. Totalmente restaurada, ofrece un encantador y acogedor confort con una piscina de 8 x 4 reservado para los huéspedes. Se encuentra a 2 km de Agonac, un pueblo en una colina con vistas al valle del Beauronne, tributario corriente de la Isla. Por Bauronne son todavía muchas fábricas, como el molino de Bordes en el centro del pueblo.

    15 minutos se puede explorar la ciudad de Perigueux de arte e historia, Brantome llamada la Venecia del Périgord, cuevas de Villars, y BOURDEILLES ST JEAN DE COLE (uno de los "pueblos más bellos de Francia"). En el departamento se puede visitar Sarlat, el Eyzies (cuevas prehistóricas (Lascaux ....), Montignac con su festival, Bergerac, con sus viñedos y castillos. También puede disfrutar de la gastronomía de nuestro departamento (tierra de trufas, foie gras, nueces .....).

    Se encuentra el pueblo de AGONAC todas las tiendas: panadería, supermercado, restaurante, bar, así como los servicios: oficina de correos, estación de tren, farmacia, médicos, enfermeras, dentistas ..., también hay un club de tenis.
    Aquacap es una piscina municipal en las alturas de Perigueux en Champcevinel unos 7 km de la casa.
    A los 15 minutos en coche se encuentra la ciudad de Brantôme, inevitable y magia, usted descubrirá restaurantes, incluyendo dos jefes de cocina, con muchas tiendas y el mercado río que atraen a muchos visitantes franceses y extranjeros. Es una ciudad dinámica y el turismo: canoa, paseos en barco, con su histórica abadía, sus exposiciones de arte ..... Se cansará ......

Une très belle maison de vacances avec sa piscine, dans une très belle région riche en histoire, en gastronomie. Malgré un début d'été avec un temps mitigé, nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour.

Fantastic Stay

This is our second time staying at Les Combes and we thoroughly enjoyed it as much as the first time. A beautiful property in a stunning location. Colette and Lawrence are great hosts.

Peaceful retreat

Our second stay at this lovely property. Gite got everything you need, pool is absolutely fantastic and the views and tranquillity are what really make it for us. Very friendly, welcoming hosts.

Ruhiges Ferienhaus für totale Erholung

Der Urlaub war super erholsam und das Ferienhaus und der Pool einfach nur fantastisch. Wer Ruhe weg vom Stress der Stadt sucht, der ist hier Frau richtig. Die Vermieter waren super nett und immer ansprechbar und der Hund Orchide ein absolutes Highlight :-) wir kommen sehr gerne wieder

Summer 23

We loved our stay here. The pool was fantastic and the views and quiet really made for a relaxing stay. Our hosts were welcoming and on hand to answer any questions we had - we even enjoyed a jar of homemade fig jam! The walk to the village is quiet and bread and pastries can be bought there to set you up for the day. We wanted a relaxing, peaceful holiday and it is exactly what we got!

Nice & quiet

We loved the nice surroundings of the house. It was super hot weather so we spend a lot of time in the pool. Kids loved that. Colette and Laurent are very friendly hosts

Maison et piscine parfaites. Meubles en bois tout en rondeurs. Emplacement au calme, propice à l'observation des chevreuils, renards, moutons... Proprietaires tres serviables (merci pour les prunes). Je recommande pour une semaine en famille ou entre amis.

Gorgeous house, well equipped with everything you need. It is very rural with lovely views of the countryside. The carved wooden furniture is beautiful and the house was lovely and cool inside. The pool was very refreshing when the weather behaved! Colette and her son Laurant were very welcoming and Laurant was very helpful with his knowledge of the local area. Overall we had a peaceful and relaxing stay.

Wonderfull house, beautifull surroundings.

We enjoyed two wonderfull weeks in this lovely house. The house has a private pool and from the garden you look out over a valley. We regularly saw rabbits, foxes and deer. There is plenty to do in the area. The owners are friendly and helpful.

Excellent séjour au calme

Nous avons séjourné 15 jours dans la maison de Mme Bonnefond, tout était impeccable à notre arrivée. Le lieu est idéal pour se ressourcer : calme, à l écart en haut du village d Agonac. Nos voisins principaux étaient les moutons :-) Des commerces proches 20 min La piscine était superbe et idéale pour se baigner tout au long de la journée. La maison est également très fraîche en cas de forte chaleur. Nous recommandons chaleureusement la maison de Mme Bonnefond. en voiture.

A secret retreat in the Périgord

A simply wonderful stay in a most beautiful location. The tranquility, stunning views and super pool allowed us to completely relax. The short walk through the countryside into Agonac enabled us not to use transport everyday & the added benefit of the rail station was another plus. Our hosts could not have been more welcoming, nothing too much trouble. Lauren discreet yet there if we needed him and Collette a phone call away. We would absolutely love to return next year. We had a lovely time. The house is beautifully cool inside when the weather was hot. The pool is 1.5m deep throughout (i.e. it doesn't have a 'shallow end'). This was no problem for us, but is useful for families to know when choosing a cottage. The house is well equipped and the surroundings are relaxing. Colette's communication was great & Laurent (who lives in the adjacent cottage) was helpful if we needed anything. Strong recommend!

An absolute gem

We have had the most enjoyable two weeks here and are very sad to go home. The area is rural and beautifully quiet. We have loved relaxing at the beautiful warm, clean pool and have felt at home in this comfortable, clean, well equipped house. Laurent (the owners' son) has been attentive and always available in the evenings to help if required. There are many things to do in the area and getting around by car is easy. The house and property (with a wonderful view!) was so nice, though, that we chose to spend a lot of time relaxing at home. We are very grateful for our wonderful holiday here and hope the next visitors have a wonderful stay too. We would love to visit again.

Lovely house and guest. Particularly loved the view over the next field were wild life came and went (rabbits, hare, birds of prey, foxes and deers). Wished I had taken my binoculars! The sheep, the chicken and the gold fishes nearby were also a bonus. Kids loved to watch the fishes from the house window. The pool is lovely and the freshness inside the house after the very hot weather was a great bonus. Thanks Colette and Laurent for their welcome. A few visits around did the trick (Brantome, Agonac Village, the Troglodyte Village of the Madeleine, Bourdeilles, Grottes de Villar). And the house was just perfect.

Perfect vacation and recreation

Best place for vacation in wonderful Perigord. Beautiful old house with manifigue pool, very quiet but only a few hundred meters to the next village and 15 km/ 20 min to the ville Perigueux with its regional markets, shops, supermarkets and restaurants with the typical regional culinary specialties. In the close village you will find also a recommended restaurant. This place is best place to discover the region Perigord even with the caves of Lascaux, les villes Sarlat and Bergerac. All the places are max 1 hour drive away. Colette and her son Laurent are the best hosts you will find. We would always come back to this place! Highly recommended! Thank you to Madame Colette er Monsieur Laurent!
