great vacation place

The place it truly wonderful. We were relaxing at the pool every day but it also offers a lot of places in the shade when it gets too hot. There is a large area for eating, barbecuing, and playing together for the whole group in the evenings. The area is very private and has a beautiful garden and it was wonderful to see the stars during the night. It is close to several cute beaches for beach days and a few fun hiking locations. Something to do for everybody.

Great for Familys with kids

We visited Kefali Villa with 4 familys - eight adoults and seven children. It is a lovly place and we enjoyed every moment there. The way up the hill is tricky in the beginning, but one gets used to it quickly. The villa itself has a large outside area with many possibilitys for the kids to play. The houses are comfortable but we rearly spent time inside and used the outdoor areas and the poolside instead to eat our meals alltogehter.

TOP - tolles Ferienhaus

Für die Lage des Ferienhauses und die Umgebung wird ein Mietwagen empfohlen. Die An-und Abfahrt ist sehr eng und steil. Wir hatten einen kleineren Mietwagen und einen Transporter und durften etwa 30 m außerhalb des Grundstücks parken. Das ist vielleicht das einzigste Mako des Ferienhauses. Aber da gewöhnt man sich daran. Das Haus teilt sich in drei getrennte Wohnbereiche. Für Familien/Freunde prima. Jeder hat seinen eigenen Eingang. Zum Kochen/Geschirrmäßig gestaltet es sich deshalb etwas kompliziert, wenn alle gemeinsam essen möchten. Ist aber auch machbar. Wir gingen eh gerne in der weiteren Umgebung essen. Das ist sehr zu empfehlen. Köstlich und preislich günstiger als zu Hause😋 Die komplette Anlage wurde regelmäßig und sorgfältig gepflegt und gereinigt. Wir bekamen frisch bezogene Betten und frisch duftende Handücher/Badetücher. Da fühlt man sich gleich wie Zuhause. Der Outdoorbereich hatte alles, was unser Herz begehrte. Sauberer Pool, ausreichend Liegen u Schirme, Schatten-und Sonnenplätze, einen großzügigen Grillplatz, den wir ebenfalls gerne nutzten. Alles sauber gepflegt. Hervorheben möchte ich auch die wunderbare Gastfreundschaft von Katerina und Giannis. Egal, was wir fragten oder benötigten, wurde uns direkt beantwortet und geholfen. Stavroula, unsere Putzfee, hat uns ebenfalls umsorgt. Wir haben definitiv vor, wieder zu kommen. Die Lage abseits vom Touristenrummel, traumhafte Strandbuchten mit glasklarem Wasser, herzliche Griechen…was will man mehr im Urlaub in einem Ferienhaus 🇬🇷❤️

A thoroughly enjoyable stay.As a family we have stayed in a number of villas but this was rated top

Loved the property .Table tennis and pool were great for t kids and adults .The men of the family enjoyed the BBQ which was used very frequently .Chania and Rethymno were delightful. Spilli was an excellent local village Give Prevelli a miss ,others beaches were great.

Tolles Anwesen für Familien

Ein tolles Anwesen! Alles sauber und gepflegt. Einziger Mangel ist die schlechte Ausstattung der Küchen. Es gibt lediglich ein Gedeck pro Person und sogar weniger Gläser als gebuchte Gäste. Die Spülmaschine befindet sich in der kleinen Wohnung, so dass wir leider oft von Hand spülen mussten. Alles in allem aber dennoch sehr empfehlenswert!

Tranquil haven in a glorious location

Our family of 5 adults, including our son and his partner plus another son stayed in this property in June 2022. We had 2 x villas, one for ourselves and one for our sons which was rather special. The villas are old and beautiful. The views and location are wonderful. There is so much outside space, you can all enjoy your own privacy and have sun/shade/part shade whenever you want. There was also great play equipment for younger children. We were fortunate to have sunny weather every day 28- 35C, with a lovely breeze from the mountains. There are 4-5 cove style beaches within a 20-30 min drive. The drive is an absolute pleasure - down the mountain and through a spectacular gorge. We generally shopped on the way home but there is a nearby "super market" around 10 mins drive . Katrina our host/owner was very helpful and quick to respond. Think Villa staff were also very attentive. We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday and would definitely recommend this accommodation. Thank you all very much, Carol and family

Tolle Location und wunderschöne Anlage, etwas weit weg vom Schuss. Sicherlich top für warme Tage. Wenn es kälter wird, gibt es kaltes bis lauwarmes Wasser zum Duschen, der Jacuzzi ist nicht beheizt. Bei Sturm ist zweimal der Strom ausgefallen. Heizung musste angefragt werden. Das Bett in dem Zwei-Personen-Haus ist definitv zu klein für zwei Erwachsene. Auf Wunsch wurde ein Extrabett dazugestellt, dann gings.

Fantastisk beliggenhed

Meget dejlig feriebolig, gode senge og meget fint område udenfor med ovn, borde, stole svømmebassin. Naturen omkring er flot med bjerge og kløfter, hvor man kan vandre. Stranden i nærheden fin. Køkkenet må godt have bedre udstyr feks knive og der er en kedelig lugt fra nogle afløb. Trods dette varm anbefaling, plads til mange.

Cadre agréable. Situé en altitude moyenne. Orientation Nord donc ensoleillée juste en matinée. Piscine non chauffée comme le jacuzzi. Jardin, extérieur superbes. Coin barbecue extra. Côté maisons, pas si propre, poussière, tâches... volets grinçants sans cesse, ancien pressoir donc l'air passe partout surtout au niveau des portes. On entend tout d'une chambre à l'autre. Les portes sont dures et font beaucoup de bruit, souvent touchants le sol. Peu de matériel de cuisine ou ustensile. Escalier en colimaçon assez dangereux dans la 1ere résidence (Attention), chambre du bas sans fenêtre ni clarté. Salle de bain à l'étage dans un ancien placard donc porte contre cabinet et douche débordante, dommage. Endroit très paisible et joli, le paysage superbe. Voiture obligatoire car 1er commerce à 10kms. Le voisinage est exceptionnel, les villageois gentils, accueillants, aidants. L'entrée pour accéder au domaine est hyper dangereuse, une allée montante et tournant sans sécurité avec le vide en contrebas et étroitesse du passage entre les maisons sans oublier un revêtement déglingué. Nous avons préféré laisser la voiture dans la rue 100mts plus bas, super les allers-retours avec la côte. Dommage, il ne manque pas grand chose pour en faire une superbe adresse.

kefali paradisiaque

Un lieu dans la nature, calme, accompagné des oiseaux, chèvres, moutons. Un petit village où les gens sont ouverts, communiquants malgré la barrière de la langue. La villa Kefali est très bien entretenue avec 2 maisons dont une divisée en 2 appartements, un immense espace extérieur, c'est là que nous vivions principalement, il y a tout ce qu'il faut, une immense table face au barbecue, evier, réfrigérateur et la piscine sans oublier tous les coins où chacun peut s' isoler parmi les fleurs et arbres fruitiers. Nous avons été accueilli comme des rois avec un service irréprochable ( Katerina et son équipe réactifs dès que nous les contactions 👍)et même des petits cadeaux. Je conseille fortement la villa Kefali 🤩 Des vacances de rêve dans un endroit magnifique à 10 mn des gorges de Kourtaliotiko et 20 mn Plakias où on trouve tous commerces et plages. C'est la 3ème fois que je visite la Crête et j'adore tout, les crétois, la nature, les paysages. Je prévois déjà ma 4ème venue😁

Secluded villa, incredibly beautiful location

The villa is as shown in the pictures very nice, owner very helpful. The terraces and the outside oven and bbq are an absolute plus. The houses are nice and well furnished, only downside is the few kitchen utensils that are present (lack of knives, cutting boards, ...). But we take that with a smile. Very nice experience!

Erholung und Ruhe pur in Kreta!

Großzügige Anlage mit Pool und Whirlpool, ideal und empfehlenswert für große Gruppen und Kinder, sehr schöne Gestaltung (Bäume, Blumen, Grillplatz, Essplatz für alle). Drei getrennte Wohneinheiten incl. Bädern bieten ausreichend Platz. Für (Klein-)Kinder: Schaukel, Trampolin, Kindergartenmöbel. Hochsessel und Gitterbett werden auf Anfrage bereit gestellt. Lage fernab vom Tourismus, Supermärkte ca. 10-15 Autominuten entfernt. Viele schöne Strände an der Südküste gut erreichbar, ca. 20-30 Autominuten. - Sehr gute Kommunikation mit der Agentur Think Villa!! Wir waren als Großfamilie mit drei Kindern in Kefali Villa und haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen!

Un séjour exceptionnel

Nous avons passé une semaine de vacances exceptionnel à Khefali village avec un groupe d’amis. L’hôte nous a accueilli chaleureusement. Il y a 3 maisons indépendantes qui étaient toutes très bien équipées. Tolle Unterkunft in herrlicher Umgebung

Wir sind als 3 Familien mit Kindern angereist und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Wir wurden herzlich empfangen und uns wurde alles gezeigt vom Vermieter/Agenturmitarbeiter. Sehr schöne Außenanlagen mit Pool und genug Liegen und Sitzplätzen für alle. Es war ausreichend Geschirr vorhanden und in der größten Wohnung konnten wir auch bei schlechtem Wetter gemeinsam Essen. Geschlafen haben wir sehr gut, es war sehr ruhig, nur die Glocken der Schafe läuteten nachts leise. Ein herrlicher Aufenthalt, eine wunderschöne Reise und die Unterkunft war für unsere Familiengröße genau richtig. Vielen Dank an Vermieter und Agentur!

Sejour exceptionnel

Nous avons passe un moment inoubliable en famille dans cette très belle et authentique propriété. Une vraie détente, la vue est splendide, reposante. La piscine, le jardin, les lumières le soir, tout était bien pensé. Les propriétaires sont a vos petits soins, réactifs et efficaces. Encore un grand merci pour l’aide et les conseils, ce fut un moment « hors du temps » !!

Cadre exceptionnel

Superbe villa composée de 2 bâtiments séparés de quelques mètres (idéal pour famille avec jeunes adultes, 27-25-22-20 ans, chacun chez soi !) Une terrasse extérieure ultra équipée, piscine, jacuzzi, cuisine extérieure avec évier, BBQ, frigo etc... Petits espaces savamment répartis où chacun peut se retirer en fonction de ses envies (lecture, sport, baignade, repos ). Grande table familiale où il fait bon se retrouver pour partager les repas... Endroit retiré en pleine nature avec une vue à ne plus en finir sur les montagnes alentours. Nous avons vécu 15 jours dehors, que du bonheur !

Tolle, großzügige Unterkunft mit absoluter Privatsphäre in schöner Lage

Wunderschön gelegene Unterkunft,perfekt für 2-3 Familien,auch mit kleineren Kindern.Insgesamt gut ausgestattet&sehr gute Betreuung vor Ort.Ideal für Ruhesuchende fernab vom Massentourismus.Absolut empfehlenswert,kommen bestimmt wieder!

Beautiful location with stunning views and amazing accomadation

Not only was this perfect for our family holiday, with three seperate accomodations for our three family units, we were given extras above and beyond what you would expect. The beautiful surroundings and perfect pool and Jacuzzi combined with space to relax and eat outside was tremendous. The drive up to the villa is an exciting one but easier once we took the main road up. Lovely village nearby with main beaches a mere 30 minutes away. Bali beach being the perfect location for a day at the beach, buying gifts and eating out. Wonderful holiday, enjoyed by us all, including a 2 and 13 year old. Loved hearing the goats and seeing the locals interest in the tourists going out for a walk mid day along the mountain path. Eating figs straight from the trees and slices of fresh picked limes in our drinks. Perfect, perfect, perfect. ❤😎😍

Traumhaftes Feriendomizil, tolle Ausstattung, wunderbarer Blick

Wir hatten mit 5 Erwachsenen und 5 Kindern einen rundum gelungenen 2-wöchigen Urlaub in der Kefali Villa. Das ganze Anwesen ist sehr großzügig und mit 3 getrennten Wohneinheiten perfekt für mehrere Familien, alles ist sehr gut ausgestattet. Die alten Gebäude sind mit viel Liebe zum Detail und zur Tradition sehr authentisch renoviert. Der Ausblick Richtung Tal und auf die gegenüberliegenden Berge ist wunderschön. Grill, Sommerküche, ausreichend Liegestühle, mehr als genügend Sitzgelegenheiten und -ecken. Wer etwas abseits vom Trubel und nicht unbedingt direkt am Meer sein möchte, ist hier genau richtig. In Atsipades selbst wohnen noch ca. 20 Einwohner, vom nächstgelegenen Dorf im Tal, Koxare, sind es noch ca. 2km Schotterweg bis hoch zur Villa. In 20-30 min ist man in Rethymnon bzw. im Süden in Plakias. Nach Spili sind es nur 10min, dort gibt es ausreichend Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und auch sehr schöne Tavernen. Obstkörbe, Wasser und Raki :-) warteten bereits in den Wohnungen auf uns. Spülmittel, Waschmittel, Toilettenpapier war alles da. Der Kontakt zu Valia von der Agentur war sehr herzlich und professionell. Der Vermieter war ebenfalls sehr sympathisch, hat uns zwischendurch Wein und Käse vorbeigebracht, die Nachbarin hat uns mit eigenen Tomaten und Zucchini versorgt. Obstbäume (Feigen, Zitronen, Birnen, Äpfel)sind auch auf dem Gelände. In den 14 Tagen wurden 2mal die Bettwäsche und die Handtücher gewechselt sowie sauber gemacht (inkl. Terrasse und Pool)! Wir waren vermutlich nicht das letzte Mal da!

Perfect recreation. I forgot about my job :-)

There were three families with kids that stayed in three villas in this location. This place is really in the middle of nowhere, but this is what makes it perfect! You can go to southern part (Agios Pavlos) and enjoy wilderness of the beaches there. You can go to Rethymno and enjoy citylife. Even Elafonisi is relatively close to this place. Or you can just stai in villas, enjoy views of greatest mountains around, beautiful silence of the place, and great pool and barbecue grill :-). Host are very helpful and welcome, cleaned the place regularly and fixed any minor issue we found. It was a great time in Kefali village and we already greatly miss it! Thank you for our great time there! P.S. Make sure you drive small cars when you get there. If you are not good with mechanic gearing - pay for the automat. Otherwise every trip back and forth to villa would be a challenge :-)

Wunderschöner Urlaub in einem liebevoll gestalteten Haus

Wir verbrachten eine schöne und erholsame Zeit in der bis ins Detail liebevoll gestalteten Kefali Villa. Traditionelles trifft auf Modernes und wir hatten neben den zwei Häusern, einen großzügigen Umgriff mit lauschigen Plätzchen, Esstischen, Grillplatz, Pool und Whirlpool zur Verfügung. Die Gastgeberfamilie ist sehr freundlich und herzlich und wir wurden großzügig mit Käse und Wein versorgt, ebenso mit Zitronen und Kirschen, die im Garten wachsen. Wir haben unsere Ferien hier sehr genossen!
