Wonderful villa, location and service

We loved stay at villa Falcon, it has spectacular views and we would stay there again. The only thing I would recommend is that the owners consider upgrading the outdoor furniture seating, it is such a great space for lounging around. But want to reiterate it was really great overall

Heaven on Earth

The property was beautiful and the views were breathtaking. As long as you have a car, the location is the best!!! The village of Plaka was from a fairy tale and the private beach area was priceless. Couldn't have asked for a better holiday!! Christine met us at the property, answered all of our questions and was so nice/accomodating. 10 out of 10.

Fantastic property

What a beautiful property. Woke up every morning to a most stunning view. House very well appointed wth everything you could possibly need. Comfortable beds with lovely linen. Christine was very helpful and knowledgeable about the area, recommending great restaurants and places to go. FANTASTIC

Villa Falcon

The villa is exactly as described and as shown in the photos. Despite the heat (like a fan oven!) we had a fantastic stay. The villa is high quality and very well equipped, with everything we needed. The pool is fantastic and the views exceptional. The aircon is in every room and kept us cool despite the 40+ temperatures. Christine was there when we arrived and was so helpful throughout the week, even checking up on us when temperatures soared. The housekeepers did an excellent job, and after the midweek clean, the villa was as good as when we first arrived. Plaka had enough restaurants to cater for our 10 days and the people are extremely warm and friendly, making us feel very welcome. Our holiday passed far too quickly and we would happily stay again at Villa Falcon.

Truly wonderful holiday

Villa Falcon was an amazing place to stay - the views were stunning, we absolutely loved using the pool, the barbecue, and the different outside spaces, and the property was very comfortable and had everything we needed. There was so much to see and do within a short drive, it was super easy to get food and things we needed, and everyone was very friendly. Christine and the team at the Villa couldn’t have been more kind and helpful, especially in accommodating my health needs (including fragrance free cleaning, airing the whole place before we came, removing things I might react to etc.). Nothing was too much trouble and thanks to them, we were able to enjoy a totally wonderful holiday.

Fabulous villa, amazing views, high quality

We had a brilliant stay. Christine was great with instructions, greeting us on arrival, answering questions and checking in with us. The villa itself is great quality and the position in the hills overlooking Plaka and Spinalonga island is stunning. Views are amazing and tge infinity pool perfect. Outside is really well set up with sun beds, sofas, table and chairs. The pool was heated which was good given the cooler weather preceding our stay. Inside is brilliantly equipped and things like condiments etc being there were appreciated. Would we stay again, you bet !!

Sehr schöner Urlaub

Das Haus ist wunderschön, Christine war immer ansprechbar, Check-in und Check-out waren unproblematisch. Die Lage ist top, man muss dann aber mit dem Auto in 6 min zum (Kiesel-)Strand fahren. Wir haben die Tage sehr genossen und werden sicher wieder kommen!

Villa Falcon stay July

The accommodation and views were fantastic. The propoerty manager couldn't do enought to assist before and during our stay. The local EuroMart and taxi company were also very accommodating during our stay, especially important if you don't hire a car for your total stay. Thank you to all.

Exceptional property

Thoroughly enjoyed our extended stay (6 weeks) at Falcon Villa. Beautiful property with stunning views overlooking Spinalonga Island. Lovely restaurants in nearby Plaka. Nothing could be too much trouble for our host Christine and the support team, Leyla and Jimmy. Thoroughly recommend this property located in one of our favourite places in the world

Beautiful new house with amazing views

What a fabulous spot up in the hills above Plaka Beach (near Elounda). Away from the busy coast with all the hotels, but close enough to dip into the hustle and bustle and to access the little restaurants and shops (just a few minutes drive from Plaka and 20mins to Elounda). The bigger town of Agios Nikolaos with it's harbour and lake is well worth a visit and is just over 30mins drive (past Elounda along the coastal road). The house with its lovely pool and stunning views of Spinalonga islands is a real 'summer' house, perfect for outdoor summer living. The bedrooms all have their own bathroom, comfortable beds, a desk, air conditioning, and a television with many international channels and Netflix (accessible via your own account) . Most memorable of all was the excellent communication with the carer of the house, Christine. Such a lovely, English speaking host who went out of her way to make sure that we had a good time. Nothing was too much and at our request she was always very quick at giving us tips about where to go. From where to buy baking powder (at bigger supermarkets in Agios Nikolaos) to recommending a local small family fishing business (Elounda Rofos Boat - run by a lovely couple who know where the best fishing spots are around Spinalonga and also ferry smaller groups to the smaller Spinalonga island). Christine even arranged with a local supermarket to have our food order for the first days delivered to the house as we had a very late arrival on Saturday night. Nothing is too much for Christine. We hope to return to this special place one day. The house is suitable for families or for a small group of friends. The bedrooms are accessible from the outside. The bedroom downstairs has it's own living room. The views are breathtaking from sunrise to sunset. We couldn't get enough. Thank you Christine, thank you beautiful Crete. We will hopefully return one day to Villa Falcon.

Where Eagles Fly

We have stayed at a lot of private villas over many years, Falcon at Eagle View is one of the best, the property is high up in the hills and offers super accommodation of a high standard, spectacular view of spinalonga and the village of Plaka, only a short drive (10 minutes) to Plaka beach, with sunbeds and shade included in the villa cost. Christine the host’s agent could not have been more helpful, from arrival to departure advising us of everything from grocery delivery to best restaurants and reliable taxis. Layla and Jimmy did everything from heating the pool to arranging sunbeds. Overall a super holiday where we did nothing but chill and relax…. Highly recommended

Amazing villa

We have recently returned from a 2 week holiday in Villa Falcon. The villa is amazing with stunning views over Plaka and Spinalonga. We spent many hours in the infinity pool, but also made good use of the private area at the beach in Plaka where we swam in beautiful clear water. The layout of the villa may be problematic for young families, but was great for us as it gave our 2 grown up children some privacy. The villa manager, Christine, was very helpful with anything we needed including our covid tests prior to return to the UK. The villa is kept beautifully clean and is well equipped. We would very highly recommend Villa Falcon.

Mega Ferienhaus, das keine Wünsche offen lässt.

Das Haus ist neu, gepflegt und sauber. Der Ausblick ist umwerfend, in 5 Minuten ist man am Meer, wir haben den Privatstrand gar nicht genutzt, weil wir uns am Pool so wohl gefühlt haben. Eine himmlische Ruhe und dieser phantastische Ausblick. Ganz toll war auch Christine, sie hat für alles vorgesorgt, damit wir bei Ankunft gleich relaxen können. Also, im Kühlschrank war Wasser, Bier, alles für ein Abendessen und Frühstück, wir waren total happy. Auch um die Anmeldung für die PCR Test hat sie sich gekümmert und uns immer zur Seite gestanden, Sie ist eine echte Perle. So nett wurden wir wirklich noch nie betreut. Vielen Dank für alles, wir konnten uns so gut erholen. Es passt hier einfach alles.

Einfach nur Super! :)

Wir wurden super herzlich von Christine empfangen mit der wir in englisch kommuniziert haben. Die Villa liegt ruhig in einem Berghang mit Blick auf Plaka Beach. Die Villa besteht aus vier Räumen. Diese sind innerhalb nicht mit Türen verbunden, was erst komisch war uns dann aber nicht weiter gestört hat. Die Küche ist super eingerichtet. Uns hat es an nichts gefehlt. Es gab zur Begrüßung sogar ein paar Snacks und Kleinigkeiten im Kühlschrank für den Start. In der Wohnküche gibt es auch einen Fernseher und Klima. Alles ist sehr neu und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Es gibt viel Geschirr und Küchenutensilien. Die Schlafräume haben große Schränke mit viel Stauraum. Die Bäder sind auch ausreichend groß und haben sogar einen Spiegelschrank in dem man viel unterbringen kann. Wir haben genug Handtücher für den Pool und auch fürs Bad bekommen. Lela die für die Reinigung zuständig war hat uns immer mit frischen Handtüchern oder Duschvorlegern versorgt. Es gibt 2 Sitzgelegenheiten. Eine vorne an der Küche. Wenn es windig war haben wir hier etwas geschützter gesessen. Die andere Sitzgelegenheit für 6 Personen ist beim Pool. Die Terasse ist schön groß. Es gibt einen gemauerten Grill und eine Außendusche. Der Pool ist wie ein Infinity Pool angelegt. Da wir spät im Oktober angereist sind, war er trotz Solarfolie recht erfrischend. Das Meer war mit 23 Grad wärmer als der Pool. An sonnigen Tagen war es aber kein Problem darin zu schwimmen und sich zu erfrischen. Jimmy der "Hausmeister" hat sich zwischendurch um den Pool gekümmert oder uns das warme Wasser von Solar auf Strom umgestellt. Der Ausblick von der Terasse ist einfach klasse. Die Ruhe dort oben lässt einen super entspannen. Man hört nur die Schafe mal über den Berg wandern mit ihren Glöckchen oder die Falken oder den Adler über den Berg fliegen. Wir werden den Ausblick wirklich vermissen. Der Strand mit dem privaten Bereich ist ein Kiesstrand mit einem Holzsteg über dem man super ins Wasser gehen kann. Das Wasser ist herrlich und der Blick auf die vorgelagerte Insel Spinalonga und die Berge ist auch wunderschön. Man benötigt aber auf jeden Fall ein Auto. Man sollte mit dem Auto auch die Insel erkunden. Es mach viel Spass an der Küste und durch die Berge zu fahren. Alles in allem hat uns dieser Urlaub super gut gefallen. Christine, Lela und Jimmy haben sich super gekümmert. Wir können diese Villa nur empfehlen und kommen gerne wieder :)
