"We had a great time staying at this property. It is in the heart of Connemara with easy access to Kylemore Abbey, Connemara NP, Clifden, Galway and Westport. The islands are very close as well. As you should expect Irish weather changes on a dime from rain to sun and back in a moments notice. The owners live on the property and are very friendly and helpful."

"Our stay was absolutely fabulous. The host is very nice and helpful. The house is like a palace and the views from the house are stunning. The house is very well equiped, I can't think of anything missing. They even have a 'kaasschaaf' (Dutch for 'cheese slicer). The house is also a good base for walks and trips to interesting sites in the proximity. We highly recommend it."

"Fabulous home and location!! Perfect for a large group including all ages. My wife, baby and I stayed in the attached studio, while my parents, mother in law, sister and nephews where in the 4-bedroom 2-bathroom main house. "Eight of us stayed in Jimmy's home as our base for climbing Croagh Patrick. The home was sited beautifully just outside of Westport and impeccably clean. There was space for eating outdoors, which was a must given how pretty the property is. Jimmy was a great host and timely answered all questions we had before the stay. If you're looking for a cozy, beautiful home in the Westport area, you cannot do better than this property. It won "best house" in our after-trip poll. "

"Lovely spacious home. Huge kitchen that had all the necessary items to cook everyday. We stayed in the property for 2 weeks and cooked almost all meals there. "The property and house are wonderful. They are exactly as pictured, but work together synergistically to make it even better to be there. It is simple but very thoughtful. Everything works well. The view and the enviroms are phenomenal. Tim was a quick and warm communicator and told us everything we needed to know. There is hiking right out the back door and good pubs a few km down the road. The road to the house is narrow, but naivigatable. There are many many more sheep on the road...

"We had a lovely stay at the house in Rockfleet. The location is really the star attraction, so peaceful and beautiful. The house is clean and tidy with a well equipped kitchen. Fantastic walks all around the area, including right from the door of the house. Located on a very quiet road with a small pier a short walk from the house and the beautiful castle right next door."

"Excellent home for 3 generation family ages 8 to 80. Plenty of room for the kids inside and out and separate from the adults. Beautiful Clew Bay views from the house, quiet peaceful walks by the sea in the mornings and evenings, and good surfing beaches nearby. Conor & Carol were immediately responsive to all questions and requests. Highly recommend this home for anyone. "
