Incredible and Unforgettable

An outstanding villa in a brilliant location on a wonderful island with a fantastic host. An absolute dream of a holiday staying in the secret garden. It was perfect for us and our 11 year old daughter. The accommodation and grounds are stunning, and we loved the pool. The roof terrace views of the sunset would be worth the trip alone. The villa is in a superb location, five to ten minutes drive to the port. We loved every minute.

Picturesque pair of houses

The setting and furnishings of the 2 cottages are superb. The owner has excellent taste for color, artwork, and functionality. We loved our stay and Davina was always available by text or phone.Our one caution is that at 80 years old, the bed in the larger cottage is difficult to access --but we did, and it is very comfortable.

Quiet idyll

Wonderfully styled cottages, one traditional, one contemporary set in a garden compound with a lovely pool. Anyone looking for a private retreat that's a short car/moped ride from the capital is in for a treat

Beautiful and relaxed holiday home on wonderful Aegina

We've had a wonderful super relaxed stay at the Secret Garden Cottage. The two houses are gorgeous, well equipped kitchens, comfy beds, roomy living spaces. And then there is the pool with panoramic views and sunsets. Couldn't have asked for more.

Fantastic

I really enjoyed the stay at the villa. It met all the expectations and looked as in the pictures. I really appreciated that the villa complex consists of two houses. The pool of course is a dreamy one with the sunset view. Alex and Devina were both super helpful and made sure everything works as per high standard. Duly recommended!

A true secret garden

The property is very close to the port and yet on a quiet spot on the hill with nice sea views. We enjoyed the plants in the garden and all the personal touches in both cottages. Throughout the day the terraces and the pool make it a wonderful relaxing stay!

Perfect stay

We had the most amazing week at the property. Great communication from the owner with lots of suggestions for things to do on the island. Lots of space, great facilities, immaculate and the pool was stunning. I would highly recommend this property and can’t wait to book again in the future

Ideal place for a relaxed holiday

We had a lovely time here. It is a very relaxing place. The two cottages are very clean and pleasant to stay in. The weather was very hot and we spent a lot of time in the pool and in Kilma Beach. The property manager was very helpful and provided recommendation for places to visit and eat.

A charming retreat in Aegina

The Secret Garden is a beautiful property, just over 10 min drive from the lovely bustling port of Aegina Town. We loved the style of the 2 properties, having a traditional build with beautiful interiors. It was very clean and so well equipped. The 2 buildings are very close, but offer a good flexible arrangement; my husband and I stayed in the pool cottage and our 2 adult daughters took the main house, this worked well. The pool area, newly built is particularly nice, surrounded by olive trees and having stunning views of the surrounding hills and the sea & neighbouring islands. We also loved the garden to the main house, with the pistachio tree and typically Greek covered loggia. The owner, Davina, was very helpful throughout our stay. Property manager Alex was extremely helpful in the booking process, providing lots of information on transfers and other local links. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and are so glad that we chose The Secret Garden.

Beautiful Accommodation

A really special house just outside of Aegina town. A great location with good views from its elevated position and very peaceful. Beautifully finished and very comfortable, we could have happily spent more time sitting outside and enjoying the property. Great hosts, a very friendly welcome and all the help we could have asked for. Couldn't recommend more. Thank you.

Quiet Oasis

The place is secluded but close to everything one could need. Archeological sites, beaches, restaurants, you name it... everything is within a 10-30 minute drive by car. Our hostess Davina was so helpful from driving instructions, to making appointments. Simply a great stay!

This is really a hidden treasure. The house has a great atmosphere with beautiful views and a great garden. A great place te really relax and with all the comfort you need and only a few minutes drive to the town centre of aegina town.

What a wonderful Island vacation!

We found this place at the last minute, and we feel so lucky that we did! The home is absolutely beautiful, even better than in the pictures. It is extremely clean, with good WiFi, and everything is in top shape. The garden is just amazing. We spent a lot of time just lounging around in the shade. We even cooked one night with local vegetables, cheeses, and spices, and had a romantic moonlit dinner. The location is great because the home is very close to the main town and beaches, but also very quiet and hidden away on a private path. There are so many tavernas with delicious food in the area we didn’t have time to try all of them and all the beaches we visited were great, especially Sarpa and Moni. Alex the manager was very quick and helpful with our last minute planning. Davina the owner was so kind, accommodating, and gave us the best advice on where to eat, shop, and swim. Thank you both! We couldn’t ask for more. Very highly recommended!!!
