We are a couple aged 80 and 75 who have travelled a lot, mainly in hotels, for example in the Caribbean, Thailand, mostly in Tenerife about 20 times. The dishes were dirty, the cutlery had old food stuck to it, so we had to wash all the dishes before using them. We also had to clean the desks before using them. The oven, stove and extractor hood were also covered in stubborn dirt, we only cleaned the ones we used. The worst thing was the fridge, which did not cool below 10 degrees Celsius, so we could not cook proper meals, for example the meat spoiled. We reported it to the owner, who refused to do anything about it, but thought we were strange and claimed that we did not know how to adjust the fridge (we have been using fridges for over 70 years, in addition to our home we also have two fridges and two freezers in our summer house)!!! The apartment is ok, if you mainly eat in restaurants. The good points were the location and the large yard. The apartment was quite quiet and the area was clean.
