"Stunning location, surrounded by lush green fields filled with song birds, with great views. Comfortable, clean, well-appointed house. Attentive hosts. Reached by a several miles-long dirt road that is exceptionally well-maintained, so not particularly challenging for those not used to dirt roads, even though unlit.Nonetheless, arriving for the first time in the middle of the night is a bit of an adventure."

"Beautiful views from all the windows, quiet, private, clean and comfortable! Well worth a three day stay in October with all the leaves changing colors. Kayaks provided were so appreciated, allowing us to paddle around the whole lake and enjoy the colors and views even more. The downstairs bedroom and bathroom were ideal for my elderly mother. Great towns within easy drive, lots to explore!"

"The cabin was exactly what my daughter and I were looking for. Everything was clean, organized and family friendly. A bonus was the property connects to Bessie Woods and we were able to go for a hike on the trails without even having to leave the property. If you love quiet and the sounds of nature, this is the perfect place for you. We can’t wait to stay there again soon."

The amount we paid was more than double the advertised price, yet we were still asked to perform a laundry list of cleaning tasks before exiting the unit (vacuuming, folding blankets, emptying and taking out gargage, etc.). I realize there is likely a management fee, but most VRBO properties do not require anything more than making sure doors and windows are secure, sink is clear, thermostats set at certain temps, etc. The property is also in...
