"The setting is idyllic in lovely peaceful surroundings, nature all around. The cottage is large, airy and bright and everything you could need was provided. Although quite a distance from Oban, the main road was pretty quiet and a pleasant drive. The pool was an added bonus, but the sauna wasn't working. We were there on the hottest weekend of the year, so didn't need the sauna."

"Wir haben eine Woche in Tarbert verbracht. Das Haus ist geräumig und sauber. Es sind 4 Bäder vorhanden, allerdings nur zwei Duschen. Die Unterkunft liegt ca.6km entfernt von Tarbert- dort findet man alles was man benötigt. Supermarkt, Restaurants und eine Apotheke. Das Haus lädt zum Verweilen ein ,wenn sie die Natur lieben,gerne lesen und die Ruhe mögen sind sie hier richtig. Ausflugsziele Empfehlungen West Port Beach, Oban, Campeltown, Isle of Arran. "We booked at the last minute fir 2 nights as we were delayed sailing to Isle of Barra due to bad weather. Melfort was perfect for us to relax and begin our holiday, the family loved the pool and we had a lovely walk. The cottage was great. Most important the staff were just so helpful, they could not do enough. We are already recommending to friends."

"We extended our stay in Melfort village and were rewarded with beautiful weather. Upper Cooperage is a lovely comfortable apartment which now has an ensuite shower room as well as main bathroom. Everything we need is provided and the village is so peaceful and relaxing. All the staff are welcoming & helpful & the Monday music night was great fun. Recommend a stay here."

"An excellent discovery of the Melfort Village. Our cottage was perfect in every way. Clean and very cosy with all the essentials. The location is really good as if is slightly raised over the village and the view from the main area and master bedroom is stunning. You can see over the villages and through the lake.
