We booked this place for three guests, as it was advertised to have a double bed, a single bed, and a sofa bed. When we arrived, there were no bedding fabrics for the sofa bed, so we had to use a duvet as a sheet. Even though they knew there were three of us, they only provided three towels. It felt unhygienic, especially since they use the swimming pool as part of their advertising to justify the price.
The door passcode was hard to see because it goes dim when not in use. When I asked for help, their response was written in capital letters as if they were annoyed. That was very poor customer service, and it put me off asking for any more help during our stay.
After checking out, I received a message demanding 300 AED for a “lost access card.” I explained that I left it on the table, but they insisted it wasn’t there and even sent a video after checkout claiming it was found inside the sofa bed, which we had already checked. It felt like they were just trying to get extra money. This fee was not mentioned anywhere in their terms and conditions. When I refused to pay, they threatened to report me to the Dubai tourism department and repeatedly called me while I was boarding my flight, which was very stressful.
The only positives were that the place was clean and the location was convenient for the Etihad Arena, which was great for the UFC event. However, you still need to take an Uber to get anywhere else like Yas Mall, so the location wasn’t a huge advantage.
