All is well. Hotel in renovation mode.. But so far so good… It’s ok. They’re working hard to please their guests. Need to be encouraged in that endeavor… All is well. Kudos to Mrs Sery, the Director .

Staff was fine but LEADERSHIP sucks Bad amenities because they does NOT pay their bill… namely the cable bill so I couldn’t watch the word up… whereas my next door neighbor enjoyed his tv… Very disappointing stay… after a being a very frequent guest… Being in the hospitality industry for over 26 years… it’s very disappointing to be treated like this… But, will NEVER come back to this place EVER!

Everything was fine! The staff was very helpful! The owner has to upgrade the exterior. Other than that, all went well! The room is very spacious. The food is affordable and the free breakfast is a plus.

I was kind enough to rate them at 4, hoping things will get better but got worst unfortunately… and that’s sad because I really this place because of its location. That’s all. Nothing in particular… I’ve been in the hospitality business for over 26 years in NY and I still am. Rating them at 4 was a way for me to boost their business and encourage to do well… but BIG mistake… As an Ivorian born, I’m a frequent flyer and visitor of the Ivory Coast… I’m also an Educator and a Teacher as well… Very disappointing as I was unable to watch the word up because the hotel did NOT PAY its cable bill and I have the proof to support my allegation… it was written on the tv screen…” pay this bill and you’ll get connected.. for a new trial…” something of that extend… sad… I went to the office and show my concern , I was told that the next day, someone would come and fix it. No one showed until . The same night the hotel Director called after my complaint… yet, nothing was done until I checked out this morning… I will NEVER give my money nor my business to the Mbemba Residence EVER! Enough is enough! A place I’ve staying in for YEARS…. I’d rather take my business somewhere where people appreciate it!

The restaurant was not in service the night I arrived and there were no TV channels.The next day, only 2 channels were made available. Overall, you get what you pay for, not the greatest experience.

Some disappointment this time!

My family and I have stayed here a few times. The staff is friendly. This time, we found a large hole in the comforter. The bed was made in such a way that the hole could not be easily seen. The cleaning lady always showed up at 7 AM. That is a little too early. Also, the TV did not work. It seems like the cable bill was not paid, but they made it seem like the issue was with the TV. We informed the staff, but nothing was done. Very disappointing.

Le séjour pas été réalisé car la résidence MBEMBA n'existe pas à l'adresse enregistrée par HOTELS.COM. Je pense avoir été l'objet d'une anarque pour laquelle je n'ai pas à ce jour été dédommagé. J'ai ouvert la demande 72057519625570 qui à ce jour n'a pas encore eu de résolution

An odd experience

I found the place rather confusing. The Uber driver couldn't find it and had to ask several people in the vicinity. There are no markings to indicate "Ngaliema Resort Club"; indeed the board with keys at reception has a different name on it. There's no lobby, just an office that might be open. They do serve a breakfast on the rooftop. There seemed to be very few guests and very few staff around. The room was OK - air conditioned and with some amenities - but the location wasn't great. I like a walkable neighborhood, but here there's nothing. No restaurant or attractions in walking distance; anything you want to do will take an Uber or taxi. Uber does work well here. The price is not bad for this city if that's the main concern.

Would not book if last place available. Avoid!

Airline cancelled flights 4 months before stay (2 rooms, 14 nights). Hotel ignored all communication from myself and Expedia who admitted they have false contact info registered & could not authorise a refund as they could not contact the property! False email/telephone number, Website taken down years ago, Facebook not updated for 3 years, Twitter not updated for 2+ years. They only seem to take bookings through 3rd party sites and do not interact directly at all. I see it has now changed it's name on here from Ngaliema Resort Club to Residence Mbemba probably to avoid other bad ratings. A four figure loss in total, partly my own fault as had I researched this hotel properly I probably would never have booked for us. Book with this place at your own risk. While I can confirm it does actually exist, don't expect any support if anything goes awry.

The stay was great! I had to travel within the country in the middle of my stay, and asked for two nights to be carried over when I come back and there was no issue with that. Very friendly staff.

Good value for working in Plateau.

Very good value/price for staying in Plateau. The restaurant is still not open but room service is available. The staff is friendly and helpful. Very happy will my stay for 2 weeks.

Reposant et heureux

La piscine malgré le fait qu'il y avait du bruit et que l'accès était pas toujours sécuritaire, la piscine a été pour moi un grande source de détente et d'exercice. L'accès à l'hôtel quand je suis arrivée 23 heures le soir, aucune indication de l'hôtel ni de lumière alors que le gps nous indiquait que nous y étions presque. Après 3 reprises nous sommes enfin arrivés. Un peu difficile après 36 heures de voyage. J'ai bien aimé le Ngaliema!
La chaleur de l'accueil et le rafraichissement de l'ère de détente, bel endroit pour accueillir la famille.

J'ai passer 4jours déjà et mon sejour est en cours, Sérieusement c'est un lieu très calme avec la piscine agréable.
