"La Casina Rossa Della Fornace" has ancient roots: it was once a metato, the traditional structure used for drying chestnuts. A stone on the roof bears the year 1774. The building has been carefully restored, respecting its original layout and openings, preserving all the authentic charm of this region.



The house has been updated: instead of the loft, there is now a new, comfortable, and cool bedroom, accessible by just two steps.



This authentic 30 sqm retreat is located in the Sestaione valley, a few kilometers from Cutigliano, in the heart of the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines, about 900 meters above sea level. The location offers fresh air, tranquility, and enchanting views in every season.



The house is cozy and practical: a comfortable bedroom accessed by two steps, a bathroom with shower, private kitchen with electric stove and microwave, and satellite TV. The real highlight is the private garden, equipped with deck chairs and a sunbed for relaxing outdoors.



Nearby, you will find beautiful hiking trails, ski slopes, and historic villages like Cutigliano, perfect for exploring the Apennines year-round.

Access: the last 200 m before the property are on a dirt road with stones; please drive carefully. This stretch is not recommended for very low cars or motorcycles, but a 4x4 is not required.
