This cabin was very comfortable, well stocked, dog friendly, and we enjoyed that it was just a short walk to the beach! We’d consider stay here again!

Nice beach getaway

We have a long weekend here and it was vey nice and perfect for the kids. It was walking distance to the beach and we went 5 times in 3 days. Beds were comfortable and there was a nice are where we could relax after the kids went to bed with out waking them.

Terrible management service

We checked in and had questions but the host Ron did not respond for 4 days. We checked in and there was trash all over the driveway, cigarette butts all over the porches and the house was gross. We cleaned the kitchens and bathrooms.Each night a bear dispersed garbage all over the property and the management company just let the yard/driveway become overwhelmed with trash, the previous renters trash even though we let them know.We booked this for an infant, however when we arrived there was ashtrays everywhere filled with cigarette butts at her level.The stay ended with someone breaking into the house while we were gone on the final day. The management company didnt want to file a police reports. These people are sketchy and have a terrible reputation for vacation rental management here in Westport. Beware and dont stay here, there is a reason its available.

HORIBBLE EXPERIENCE

We never stayed here and need our refund from Vrbo still. No one has contacted us at all. Both Vrbo and rental host were a nightmare to deal with and made us feel like we did something wrong for using them to book a vacation rental.

Beach weekend

Hi, We had a wonderful weekend staying at the Dragonfly Cabin. The home and deck were lovely. The kitchen was well appointed. The home was located within walking distance to the beach which was wonderful. We were able to bring our dogs (2) for the weekend which made it really great and the owners did welcome our pets. A small grocery shopping was also within walking distance. There were a few things that needed updating and some TLC. The dishwasher was missing a wheel to the bottom rack.It was not drying the dishes properly and was mildewing on the inside. The toaster also needs to be replaced. We were happy to enjoy all the board games the supplied on the property. We did find the batteries in all 4 remotes dead. The cleaners may need to check on these after each stay. The deck on the outside of the home was wonderful but does have some loose boards. All said we had a wonderful stay with our family. Thank you Suzanne

Overall, good. Other than a couple minor nuances (upon arrival forgotten laundry in washer and dryer, door with outside lock wasn’t super comforting). We enjoyed the location immensely and had fun.

Unexpected Trip

We were very pleased to find the Dragonfly Cabin on such short notice. The house was cozy and comfortable and worked out great. We’d lost a very important person in our lives and didn’t want to be a burden on my sister by asking where to stay for the memorial. Dragonfly was a great place and would stay again!

Smaller than pictured.

House is small and cozy, but we would prefer it to have more open space. The yard is much smaller than pictured. We rented other properties in the same area, but bigger with more bedrooms and baths, and the interior are updated and nicer for the same price range.

Calm and relaxing

We loved the nice cozy feeling of the home. We had a nice calm and relaxing off season visit. We loved being able to just walk to the beach in a couple minutes. Can't wait to come back.

Great space

The Dragonfly cabin was cozy and comfortable. We liked that there were lots of different spaces to hang out, so we could spend time all together, in small groups and alone. Best was that it was just a short walk to the beach!

We had a good time at this house! The only thing we had to be worried about is the deck. There were soft spots and nail heads on the deck. Overall, it was good.

Dragonfly Cabin

We enjoyed our stay at the cabin. It is very cute and eclectic. It was a little smaller than we envisioned from the pictures, and the outdoor decks are in poor condition which was worrisome with kids running around, but other than that, it was great and we all had a good time. It was an easy walk to the beach and car access was close by.

Eclectic home a block from the Beach

The Dragonfly Cabin was the perfect place for our group. Located a block from the beach, it was a quick walk to the sandy shore. Instead of feeling like a rental, it felt like we were walking into someone's home. It's stocked with all the things you could need to entertain, nothing like a "normal" vacation rental where you feel like you're in a hotel. We didn't have time to play all the games or movies, but we did sit on the multi-level deck to enjoy a meal and the company. The neighborhood is quiet. Close to Grayland and Westport, it's a great getaway.

The check in process was very easy thanks to the detailed email sent prior to check in. The beach is a short walk from the cabin, making it a great location. The cabin was stocked with everything you need for your stay, including for your furry friend. We had a great time.

Great house. Short walk to the beach, access just at the end of the street. We really enjoyed our stay. We don't have pets but it looked very dog friendly. You do need to bring a few extra garbage bags, toilet paper, dish and clothing detergent. I did forget to start the dishwasher, I remembered about an hour after leaving the house...sorry. I had it all ready to go then got distracted. There weres enough sheets for the pull-outs but not enough blankets, luckily my daughter brought a couple of hers but my son had to piece together a couple of throws. We had 6 total in our party so if you need to make up the extra beds you might want to bring a couple extra blankets. All in all a great stay, thank you again!
