Very very hot fan was supplied but did absolutely nothing (it was the hottest few days) Only one window could open and that was a maximum of 3 inches We will book again but study the facilities much closer . Slightly misleading when you read the descriptions where it says "hotel apartments" Staff were very friendly and cheerful"

"The only reason for the lower condition rating is the visible mould around the master bedroom window which needs remediation. The new wooden wardrobe in that room is currently unusable due to a strong musty smell. Aside from this, the barn is beautifully presented with many thoughtful details. "We only had one night at Rose Cottage however we wished we could have stayed longer. Beautifully furnished and more spacious than we imagined. Great to have 2 bathrooms too - real bonus. Kitchen and lounge areas were perfect. Beds were also really comfortable and we were amazed how quiet it was considering it was attached to other properties. All in all a real gem of a cottage in a really pretty village."

"A lovely setting for getting back to basics. Josh and Natalie we're incredible hosts who couldn't have done more. Highly recommend the breakfast hamper, the food was delicious with proper, yellow yolked, eggs! Our kids loved seeing the alpacas, chickens, guinea pigs, ducks and the glamping element. "We have stayed at Astor house before so we came back to the same apartment. They had upgraded the sofas to recliners which was a nice surprise. The apartment itself is easy to get to clean and Torquay town centre is a short walk away. It has a great view over the beach side of Torquay and the area is quiet. The place is clean and well maintained and the host kindly provided some biscuits and milk. I would highly recommend this place."
