"I loved this house! It is old and charming but remodeled. Everything was very clean. Both beds were very comfortable. It’s just outside downtown so it’s close to everything but quiet. I will be coming back every time I’m in Anderson to visit my father. Highly recommend staying here. "

"Doris' Cottage is definitely charming in a convenient location and on a quiet street. Everything was very clean, very well decorated and very welcoming. The beds and pillows were comfortable and the linens were very nice. The kitchen was well equipped to make it easy to prepare meals. A variety of tea and coffee was available and extremely enjoyable. "Our larger group was in need of a pretty large house to stay at while we attended a local event. This one had plenty of space and a ton of character. Everything was extremely clean, and the kitchen in particular was well stocked with everything we needed to cook for the group. "I booked this house for a girls weekend to celebrate my little sister getting married. Overall we had a good experience here and would book again. The home was overall clean other than needing a little bit of pest control (large black ants and a singular palmetto bug, nothing crazy). "Plenty of space for our family of 4 and 2 dogs to fully enjoy our long stay. The beds are comfortable. Very spacious ensuite with a large closet & laundry room. Lots of places to sit, relax and enjoy the surrounding woods. We saw deer roaming everyday. Its in a very nice secluded location.
