Extremely small rooms and narrow stairs. Arrives to this hotel after 26 hours of travel. No one at desk (5pm). Waited 10 mins. Finally someone showed up— told her I was exhausted. Was given room 45 which (I thought) meant 4 flights of stairs (I was dead on my feet). No further instructions were given. I hauled all of my luggage to the top floor to find there was no room 45. Hauled it all back down again to ask where I was supposed to be — was told with a giggle that they should have given me better directions… the room is an annex off of the first floor 😡 Made it to the room, took a nap and awoke —took a lukewarm shower (ran water for 20 mins to no effect). Went out for a late dinner, only to return to a locked door that my key wouldn’t work in (!) Found two number in the poorly lit entryway — called them both. The second gave me a code to get in (was I supposed to have this? Who knows.). Anyhow, I finally got in. Came down for breakfast in the am— no one at the desk. Decided to try my luck elsewhere. It was my only night there and I was not sad about that.
