Onverwacht terecht gekomen in erg fijn en luxe b&b
Erg fraai gelegen bed en breakfast. Schitterende tuin met zit, speel en zwemgelegenheid. Keurige kamer, vriendelijk ontvangst en erg goed ontbijt buffet. De omgeving is ideaal voor wandelaars, fietsers en liefhebbers van kastelen en authentieke dorpen. Aanrader!

Great family stay
Great B and Bout of the way in a nice country setting. The hosts were wonderful and welcoming. The room was clean and very comfortable for our family of 5. Bountiful breakfast was excellent.

In tegenstelling tot andere beoordelingen werden wij niet hartelijk ontvangen. De kamer was afgeleefd en de bedden niet comfortabel. Dubbel bed keihard, enkele bedden te zacht. Nachtlampje tussen de bedden en onder de bedden onder het stof. Afstandbediening TV en Videorecorder(nog van deze tijd?) plakten dus niet aangenaam schoon. s' Avonds werden we opgebeld om te vragen hoe laat we zouden uitchecken, niet echt relaxt gevoel op vakantie.

Ik heb u vriendelijk ontvangen en ingecheckt maar ik kreeg echt geen woord uit jullie zodat ik dan maar mijn gebabbel verminderd heb omdat ik dacht dat het jullie irriteerde. Ik ben dan na een kwartier nog mee geweest in de regen naar de zwemvijver. Heb de uitleg gegeven en gezegd dat je gerust onder de paraplu mocht zitten in plaats van in de regen. De kamer is nog maar net opnieuw geschilderd. De meubels zijn niet nieuw maar er is nog geen enkele kras op laat staan versleten. We zijn een familiehotel en voor 4 personen een familiekamer is prijs kwaliteit goedkoop. Het is aan die prijs niet mogelijk om designmeubelen hier in te zetten. Jammer dat u de bedden niet goed vindt. We krijgen hier juist veel positieve reacties over. Ik heb u s' avonds inderdaad nog gebeld of u s morgens ontbijt wilde. We moeten namelijk een kwartier rijden naar de bakker en dien dit te weten op voorhand. Heel veel mensen boeken namelijk zonder ontbijt en willen dit s morgens dan wel. Vandaar dit ik voor het zekerste dit liever op voorhand vraag. Toen jullie geen ontbijt wilden heb ik er gewoon ter info bij vermeld dat de laatste uitcheck om 11h is. Bij het uitchecken spraken jullie weer niet tegen mij alleen tegen elkaar. Toen de beoordeling 10 minuten later binnen kam schrok ik mijn een hoedje en ben gaan kijken. Er lag geen stof onder de bedden na uw verblijf en de afstandsbediening plakten helemaal niet. De dvd's zijn misschien niet van deze tijd maar ze doen het nog zeer goed en veel kinderen vinden het vaak nog heel leuk om naar te kijken.

Merci voor uw feedback. In alle talen vermelden we overal dat de laatste free check-in om 21h is. Als u na dit tijdstip toch boekt en wilt inchecken rekenen we de volledige personeelskost door. We zijn een B&B en geen hotel. Ook wij hebben slaap nodig, vooral tijdens het hoogseizoen wanneer late check-in meer en meer voorvalt....

Exceeded my expectations
This property is set in farm country and is quiet. There were games for use, free WiFi, and the host had an honor bar with great selection of Belgian beers and other beverages. Much appreciated getaway from the city. Room was as described with great views over the countryside. Worth the drive and in range of Bruges, Ghent and the Flanders fields.

Wish we had stayed longer
We only stayed for one night on our way back from Centerparcs in The Netherlands but wish we had stayed longer. The location was very peaceful and the bed and breakfast is surrounded by beautiful landscape. The rooms are very comfortable and clean and lots of choice for breakfast. We will be back!

Very far off the main roads , this hotel advertised as a B&B with restaurant. Restaurant closed when arrived at 8pm. Friendly directions given to main town, On return expensive drinks €5 for small glass house wine. Next morning breakfast at €10, so its not a B&B We felt the web add had mislead us, we chose the hotel because it offered food after a long journey - it did not.

Sehr Ruhige Lage und sehr nette Gastgeber
Hatte ein sehr geräumiges Zimmer mit Großen Bett. Komfortabel und ruhig. Das Hotel ist sehr ländlich aber durch die sehr offene Art der Gastgeberfamilie mischt man sich sehr schnell unter den anderen Gäste so das man, wenn man will, sich abends bei einen Bier oder Abendessen unterhalten kann. Mir hat der Aufenthalt sehr gut gefallen und würde auf jeden fall wieder dort buchen. Kann es auch ruhig empfehlen.

Katastrphe
ich muss mich über den katastrophalen Urlaub beschweren. Ihre Mitarbeiter haben mir ganz tolle vielversprechende Fotos des Hotels gezeigt. Ich vertrete die Ansicht, dass die Versprechungen mit der Realität übereinstimmen müssten. Im Einzelnen beschwere ich mich über die folgenden Punkte : Erstens sollte das Hotel ein normaler Weg zum Zugang haben,aber das Hotel liegt im komischen Ort und zu weit von Stadt Zentrum mit der sehr schmalen Straße zum Zugang. Darüber hinaus ist mein Zimmer so alt und furchtbar sowie ein Geisterhaus und meine Freundin kann nicht von Angst schlafen. Weiterhin sind die Zimmern sehr unsauber insbesondere das Badezimmer und Bettwäsche und Tücher und der kleine Kühlschrank und davon habe ich viel Fotos gemacht zum Dokumentieren. Außerdem sind die Wände so eingebaut, dass man die Nachbarn hört, wenn sie sprechen. Abschließend nahm ich vor allem Anstoß am fehlenden warmen Wasser im WC und fehlenden Licht im Badezimmer.

Hallo? Unsere B&B ( kein Hotel) ist von 2012. Alt ? Nur 6 km von E40.. Vielleicht haben en Sie ein Fehler gemacht.

für Familien mit Kindern , aber auch für Ruhe such
Für Familie mit Kindern , aber auch für jeden hat dieses Hotel die richtige Lage. Wir waren als Sportgemeinschaft zur ECSG in Gent angereist und fanden hier die nötige Ruhe zwischen den Wettkämpfen um uns zu erholen aber auch um uns in aller Ruhe auf den nächsten Tag vor zu bereiten. Mit Spaziergängen in der Natur oder Spielen in der Natur wie Wikinger Schach und Boule haben wir unsere Köpfe frei bekommen vom Wettkampfstress. Es war sehr sehr heiss Ende Mai 2017, aber es war klasse dort. Der Hotelier und seine Frau waren jederzeit bereit uns bei Fragen die nötigen Antworten zu geben oder uns Plätze in Restaurants zu reservieren. Das Hotel ist ein kleiner feiner Familienbetrieb. Ich würde auch meinen Freunden jederzeit dieses Hotel empfehlen.

Get treated like one of the family
Hans and Melanie offer a unique experience. As other reviewers have mentioned, Hans maintains a well-stocked bar, but there's quite a lot else. The house is set in farmland with a drainage stream running along a boundary (saw a heron and moorhens), giving a completely different impression of Belgium. The place has a lot of distractions for kids - chickens, a lot of play areas, guinea pigs, aviary birds, even a planned walking circuit around the whole place. At our stay, they offered fresh strawberries and (very strong) beer (11.5%) from neighbours and friends - and Hans is a polyglot who can entertain - in English, Dutch, French...and Croatian - and has a great fund of anecdotes. They are also great diplomats, handling residents from a wide variety of viewpoints with tact and diplomacy. Breakfast variety isn't huge, but is bought fresh, so don't expect breakfast before 8.15-8.30, because it depends on the bakery opening. A final word. Hans and Melanie operate this B&B on an open and honest basis. Most things (like helping yourself to the bar) are done on a trust basis. They do treat you like an extension of their family - but this involves give, as well as take, so don't go expecting to be treated like royalty (so no arrival at midnight, demanding food) - it does involve respect on both sides. We went here as the first stop on a 5,000km plus drive around Europe, and I'm very happy that we started here.

Definitely off the beaten track
Recently had a 2 night stay here and it was great. The place is in a very rural area so you can be assured of being away from any hustle and bustle. Luckily the owner has put lots of B & B signs up otherwise it would be difficult to find. We found the owners to be very friendly and helpful. It was very nicely decorated and furnished, the room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was great. The only thing I could pick on was the soundproofing as it was easy to hear the TV and goings on from the other rooms but it didn't hinder us greatly. All in all a great place to stay and we wouldn't hesitate to come back.

It is a family hotel located in amazing place. The owners are absolutely fantastic. I got a great dinner and perfect breakfast. Gorgeous atmosphere, all of guests had possibility to know each other. It was a great stay there!
