"Nice room in a traditional pub, but it didn’t have space for a chair or even a luggage rack. You have to put your luggage on the bed to unpack and then sit on the bed to drink tea and eat the continental breakfast. The shower was good with lots of hot water. The bed and pillows weren’t great. The noise from the pub is very noticeable, keeping us awake until 1:45 am on a Friday night. Very pleasant, helpful, friendly staff.
The room was very pleasant with a comfortable bed and roomy shower room.
The room layout reflects the history of the property with a couple of shallow steps between the bedroom and shower.
We stayed for dinner and were rewarded by a tasty meal. A good selection of vegetarian options. Our usual habit of swapping plates half though very much went by the board.

"The room is good and of a reasonably high standard.
There are however two major challenges. The room was on the top floor which from the car park is three flights of stairs. A lot when you’re carrying several large bags and clothes for a wedding.
The second big issue is the hall lights on a sensitive room sensor.
