"The setting is idyllic the facilities are very poor.No outside umbrellas to enjoy the view in the sun. No bar between 3pm and 5.30pm to access drinks of any kind. "This place is truly unique. We were met at reception and shown to the breakfast room and various lounges, then to our room. All had spectacular views. "We arrived to no one around and after walking around the property finally saw an envelope with our name on it and our key. Our room smelt moldy and damp. The carpet was dirty and the walls were peeling. The beds were very uncomfortable. It was shocking to see after such a high rating. "I would love to give this a 5 star review but and I am very sorry that I can't, because for us the stay did not turn out to be what we had hoped. "Credit where credit is due, this has to be one of the nicest places we’ve stayed at. Superbly finished property in a really safe area. Extremely friendly owners who couldn’t do Enough to make our stay as good as it could possibly be. Bottle of prosecco and Welsh cakes on arrival just added to what a was an amazing accommodation. The hot tub was a superb place way to finish each evening in style, we will be back! Superb. "
