"We had the most wonderful stay. The location is just beautiful and it's so very peaceful.
I stayed in the Wall Room with my dog. It was totally dog friendly with a very comfortable bed and a fabulous shower. There was a bed, towel, water bowl and treats for my dog.
The restaurant/cafe was located close by and the food was lovely. Chef David has created a fabulous menu. The Sunday lunch was totally delicious. The restaurant staff were lovely. Friendly and very helpful.

"Beautiful, comfortable boutique hotel stay with exceptional staff. Marie was wonderful, acquainted us with the history of the Castle and the wonderful hotel amenities. She even assisted us with extending our stay. Can’t wait to return for a summer visit! 5 star and a highlight of our South Wales adventure!"

"We wanted to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary, and would normally have gone somewhere hot for this milestone but with Covid we are still not prepared to fly anywhere, so were looking for something different to just a ‘hotel room’, I saw this advertised on Expedia, and it looked to be just what we were looking for, a bit of luxury in a tranquil setting, just the down time we needed after a busy year. "The rooms were lovely, warm and clean. Having a dog bed and food bowls was a lovely touch. The fridge was useful and we have plenty of space. The bed was very comfy.
We really enjoyed the breakfast, especially the fried bread!! The staff were amazing, we wished we could have stayed longer! "

"Overall we had a great stay. A few down points for us, mainly the cleanliness. There were cigarette ends scattered in the outside area, there was toothpaste scattered up the bathroom wall, hairs all in the main bed and the dining chairs were awfully stained.
Otherwise the property appears from the photos to be the whole cottage, but there is part of the property which is attached and is a separate booking (luckily not booked when we were there). Also the garden backs onto another additional...
