"The hotel was further from Lyndhurst than I expected and although that wasn't an issue, it was further than I anticipated. This for us was the only downside to the stay. The room was cosy and comfortable and somewhat quirky. We loved its uniqueness. The hotel restaurant was lovely and we enjoyed our dinner there on our overnight stay. We would definitely stay again as it was convenient for a stop over before embarking on a cruise the following day from Southampton."

"Stay away if you don't want to bring bed bugs back home. We have bed bugs in our rooms, and tried to move around the hotel, to different rooms on different floors, but the problem remained the same. We spent one night killing bed bugs all night before we gave up and moved out. Hotel has refused to give us any refund afterwards."

"Had a lovely, spacious room with a king size bed and lifesaving portable air con Very nice bathroom with complimentary toiletries. Tea and coffee facilities excellent.
The property is only a 2 minute walk from 3 pubs, 2 restaurants, a convenience store, tea room and the train station. But you hear no noise. There is parking outside the property."

"The bar was great. It was a little hard moving luggage up stairs to 2nd floor. The room was a little small but perfect for a short stay. Very quiet, clean, and comfortable for a night."

"Really can’t have chosen a worse place.
No towel.
Mould on the roof
Condensation everywhere.
Flakey paint.
Aluminium foil to cover the windows.
Can’t be a real place I paid over £120 for.
Not much more I can say.
Front desk: guy was super happy and helpful so I’ll give him 5 stars.
Rest is pretty much unbelievable. The end."
