"A beautiful part of Scotland to stay in, with lots of information about the surrounding area available for us when we arrived. The house was well equipped with everything that we needed our only issue being that the beds were not very comfortable, despite this we had a lovely stay in a part of the country we had not visited before."

"Needed more stop bys for house keeping, trash builds up quickly. Whoever designed the tub/shower arrangement was incompetent. I am average height and the shower head height was at the middle of my chest. A little more information about how to use equipment (ie the combo washer/dryer for us from North America) would also be handy. "The Kist is one of the most beautiful accommodations, we‘ve ever been. Surrounded by fields & hills, with a lot of animals around you, it is very quiet. On the other hand the next greater town (Stirling) is not far away and from there you can travel by train very easy and fast to Glasgow and Edinburgh. Stirling is also worth visiting. The accommodation is very nice and equipped and Ilona and her husband are very helpful landlords. I hope, we will come back one day!"

"We enjoyed our stay. The 3 bedroom apartment accommodated our group of 6 well and was spacious. The furnishings are a little older but the grounds and the view to the lake are lovely. We enjoyed a drink at the onsite bar. It is worth checking the location on Google Maps as it is a little off the beaten track, but that is part of its charm. "
