"Da unser Cottage ca 100m von der Durchgangsstrasse lag und es auf dem Grundstück viele Bäume gibt, war es extrem ruhig. Der Empfang durch Angela und ihre Katzen war sehr nett. Das Cottage selber ist bestens mit Herd/Ofen, Mikrowelle, Kaffeemaschine (zum Empfang gab es Wilkommensportionen Kaffee :-) ), Wasserkocher und Toaster ausgestattet. "When my wife picked out this unit, I had reservations because it is downstairs. Despite being downstairs, there are views of the Cheticamp harbor from 2 bedrooms and it is extremely well furnished, including dishwasher and washer/dryer, well designed and well maintained. "The house was very clean and well stocked. Mike was great at giving all the necessary information required and was easy very responsive with communication. The town is great and full of friendly people. The nearby beach is a spectacular spot; my favourite so far. The location is perfect to go golfing, beaching, hiking, and sightseeing. "The dinner meals were amazing. I had halibut one night and salmon the next. It was served with fresh vegetables from the garden. I had soup and mussels as appetizers and both were fabulous. The breakfast was very underwhelming, cold frittata and French toast with Aunt Jemima syrup ,no fresh fruit as promised. Our server Pierre was polite, efficient and kind. "Beautifully located on Lake Ainsley. Steep walk down to shoreline, shallow entrance to the lake, perfect to use waders for fishing. Had lots of fun fishing in this lake and in the Whycocomagh area only 15min away.Tranquile and private setting. Lots of apples trees lining the driveway and mature birch, poplars and maple trees. Rabbits and many birds came to visit :)"

"The Margaree Valley is visually stunning and no more than in Autumn with the leaves changing colour. The property is located on the river with a very easy walk down to the Boars Back Salmon pool. The accommodation was first rate. WiFi and cell coverage 4 bars good. Very comfortable beds. Owners were charming and immediately answered any questions we had. No hesitation in recommending this spot."
